If no tables at the garden cafe, walk to the Aft of deck 12 and take your food into Cucina. Was empty for the most part!

On Norwegian I would always get premier dining package, well worth the value for the options that you have. Since we had great shore excursions didn't really use balcony much since we were off of the ship.

The room service is included in the ship fare. We enjoyed coffee sent to the room each morning. They also had large screen viewing of NFL football game playoffs.

Super ship, didn't have to walk thru the casino to get to the resturants or the entertainment or bars. Elegant dining in the Tsar dining room. Actually we enjoyed it so much we didn't dine anywhere else. Great auditorium, never sat in a bad seat and wow, what great shows!

Breakfast and lunch in Tsar's to avoid the madness that is the Garden Cafe. If you must eat at the buffet, go sit in La Cucina.

There is a refrigerator in the room and there is also a coffee pot so you can make coffee before you have to dress and go down to the breakfast!! That is a great plus compared to other cruises I have been on!

If you can, swing for the upscale restaurants. They are worth it. Also, unless you're a borderline alcoholic, I'd avoid the drink package.

Make early reservations for the specialty dining and go to the far back of the ship on deck 12 for the shortest buffet and bar lines

If you are interested in the specialty restaurants (Le Bistro, Cagney's, Chin Chin, etc), make your reservations early so you don't have to worry about waiting. They fill up at the end of the week, so for a better experience go at the beginning of the trip. Teppanyaki is popular so do that ASAP.
