Review summary
We sailed on the Norwegian Jewel on April 14th 2103 from NYC. The check in and security process were a breeze (get there early) and we were on board and exploring the ship a little after noon. The trip down the Hudson and out to sea was amazing. Our second day at sea was rough but we got through it. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing with perfect weather. The excursions went off without a hitch and the re boarding was simple. The food and drink were amazing but the only negative was some (not all) of the bartenders were a little rude but if you have a crew of over and 1000 and one or 2 are unpleasant that's pretty good. The shows and activities on board were fun and organized. The only negative about the vessel itself was the pool area size and the availability of towels. If you weren't out on deck by 8:30/ 9am good luck with a lounge chair and towels...Other than that I would give this trip a 9.5 on a scale of 1-10Ship experiences
