Review summary

This was a family vacation - Granddad, Grandma, 2 adult daughters and 4 year old granddaughter. The ship's personnel were universally outstanding, the food was great and the ship both beautiful and comfortable.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the Tsar's Palace main dining room for almost every meal. We never had a bad meal!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
My wife and I just like to sit by the pool and read. That's our idea of relaxing.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
No big "Broadway" produtions like on the very large cruise ships. Just small musical groups in the lounges. But we enjoyed their performances.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the children's activities and made new friends.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Built in 2005, the ship is still very comfortable and beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The largest and most comfortable bathroom of any cruise ship we've been on. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was large enough so we didn't feel confined.

Ship tip

The 2 person musical duo "Cover Story" was very entertaining. The female vocalist was very good; the male musician played both piano and guitar. They did popular songs. Our 4 year old granddaughter danced to every number, to the amusement of the audience.

Ports of call

Houston, Texas

3 out of 5
We live just north of Houston, so Houston is "old hat" to us.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Just did some shopping. We've been here many times before.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
This is a tender required port. One daughter went ashore; the rest stayed on the ship.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Our only trip to the beach. Comfortable accommodations. Our granddaughter loved it.

Good to read that you all enjoyed your cruise.  How was the entertainment in the main theater?
