The ship was good. Staff were courteous, food was good, ship's condition was good. The entertainment was ok. The final show, cirque bijou, was pretty good. Other than that, a lot of people just walked out during the show. Itinerary was very good. That's what made us take this cruise. Tokyo to seattle via alaska. Japanese ports were pretty good. Alaska was very good. We did not enjoy Russia.

The ports were great, some of the excursions were too rushed with too many stops. The food wasn't very good on the ship. The Haven area is tiny--and over-priced for what you get--I would not recommend the Haven on the Jewel.

Overall I will not be going on the Norwegian Jewel again. While the standard for food may be lower in Australia, I don’t think cold food and food that was cooked hours ago is acceptable to be served anywhere, whether it’s the buffet or main dining rooms.

Had a great time. Met a lot of nice people. Made new friends. Don't like the little cutbacks. Like a chocolates on the pillow and chocoholics night. I didn't mind the tips have gone up. The kitchen and housekeeping staff are well worth it. My biggest complaint was the visa that I was unaware of. In the end I purchased two next S. Wasn't going to do it based in my last experience. But this cruise was so much better than the one I took.l in May. I like carnivals internet policy. It's $5 a day for social media. It's a great idea when you need to contact family.

The glaciers were the best part. I wouldn't advise anyone to cruise this area this late in the season. Too rainy and the ports were mainly small and poor.

Dave, the cruise director was personable, fun and really made you feel at home. The staff always said hello and asked if they could help. My steward went out of his way to compliment me and ask about my day. Everything flowed nicely. There was something going on all the time, shows, music, games, and non-stop food options. I was traveling by myself, but never felt alone. Looking forward to going on my next cruise.

This is a definite must for cruising if you don't mind cooler temps and love nature. The landscape and ports were stunning. A helicopter ride to the glaciers is a must.

Great locations, had fun in the ports, room was clean and staff was very friendly. Food was ok, drinks were decent. Overall, i had a fun time but a 5 days cruise would have been good enough for me.

Overall this trip was a HUGE disappointment. Norwegian sucked and we will NEVER cruise with them again. And Cheap Cruises was also incredibly disappointing. We called many times after our initial booking - they were horrible about getting back to us. Won't be using them ever again either.

Just okay, watch the fees and the cost for drinks. Both are outrageous. Not a horrible experience, but not a great one wither. First time, last time NCL cruiser.

The only reason we took points off is because many things felt very nickel-and-dimey. Lots and lots of fees. We're not sure we would book Norwegian again. I am also upset that I did not realize that I could have gotten a discount as a Caesars Platinum member....

Nice sized ship. Great ports. This itinerary gives you less tie in each port but brings you back to Seattle. I though it was perfect. Would love a bit more time in the Glacier Bay.

Ports of call were great, and highly recommended. But you should absolutely go see them on a different ship from a different cruise line. The NCL Jewel features below average entertainment, terrible staff, even worse food, on a beat-up, dirty ship.

The best thing I can say about the cruise is that once we left the ship we talked for 3 days about wishing we were back on the ship and doing the cruise again!

Overall we enjoyed this cruise tremendously. The glaciers were fantastic. We will never forget the best part was when we watched the Dawes glacier from our balcony and then went to the Tsar and were seated right at the back of the ship. Loved that whole night.

Drinks are extremely overpriced. Complimentary food is ok, charged food isn't worth it. Entertainment is mostly nice .Best and hardest working guy on the cruise by far is Richard.

Overall a relaxing cruise. Friendly and relaxed crew and passengers. Food quality and restaurant service was generally below par except for Cagney's and Le Bistro. Staterooms need upgrading but are clean and comfortable. On-board retailing was overdone. Ports have become too commercial and lost some of their charm, too bad. But, Alaska is still incredibly beautiful.

Excellent Cruise strongly recommend for everyone! After seven nights we don't feel to leave the ship. The ship had several staff every where in the ship. The variety of food and drinks and entertainment through out our stay.

I am happy with my cruise experience. It was nice to be away from busy stressful routine and be pampered for a week. Sometimes this matters more than visiting or seeing. I just loved the friendly smily staff and all the entertainment and effort they put forth to make us feel at home and we truly called it a welcome home when coming back from walking all day in the cold.
