Review summary

To book a disembarkation transfer from the port to the airport is a challenge. It could not be done online and must call to make a reservation. After phone booking then I could not pay online. End up we hired a taxi to get to the airport, which was cheaper, private and faster. No body informed us that we could book flights with the Norwegian. The United Cruise did not offer us this service either.

The specialty restaurants are very good. amazing steaks and Italian food. The buffet is average (not many choices of tropical fruits even we were cruising in the tropical region.) The far eastern restaurant, Chin Chin cooks the worst Chinese dishes I have ever had. Norweigian must improve its Far Eastern cooking.

The room service was excellent with very friendly staff. The dining room services are random. Most are excellent but occasionally we encountered less desirable service.

The Norwegian Jewel is very clean. However, the ship rocks a lot even when the wind and wave are not particularly heavy.
