Review summary

Overall this was a good cruise, however I was not expecting the seas to be as rough as they were. I never had an issue with seasickness but did have sealegs for a couple days after we were on land. The ship was in desperate need of refurbishment but the food was great and our cabin was nice.

Embarkation

We arrived at the port at our given time and it seemed very disorganized. We gave our luggage to the porter and stood in line for about half an hour. Once we checked in we were guided into a very large warehouse full of uncomfortable chairs and waited about an hour for our group to be called to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food on the ship was very good as we had the restaurant package and ate at a different specialty restaurant every night. The steakhouse was phenomenal. The churrascoria was just ok, the teppanyaki was great as well

Ship Quality

The ship was very worn out and in need of dry dock prior to our sailing

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was nice- we had a balcony mini suite.. perfect for an Alaskan cruise

Ship tip

It is a small ship, so it cannot combat the rough Alaskan waters well
