Wonderful cruise! Can't wait to take it again. You could take it multiple times and see and do different things each time!

Line was a little long but went fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was amazing! I have a gluten allergy and was treated like a princess by the staff and chefs! I had my own emissary to go between the kitchen and wait staff at my table.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We went to the casino, participated in karaoke, and pools/hot tubs, The pools and hot tubs were super clean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to a game show, and late night comedy shows. At the comedy shows I howled like a monkey because Tim Kaminski was so funny!!

Children's Programs

No small kids

Service and Staff

We were treated like family. Our room steward knew our names and said hello every time he saw us. Our waiters/waitresses treated us wonderfully.

Ship Quality

I figured out where everything was very quickly. It was nicely decorated and always clean. I likened it to being on a floating Disney World theme park.

Cabin / Stateroom

I thought it was nicely laid out. It was perfect for the 2 of us but would have been cramped with 4 people. It was always clean since they cleaned it twice a day.

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

We did one not associated with the cruise line. It was amazing!! Resurrection bay had so much wildlife.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

It was an amazing experience to be so close to a glacier. The ship got as close as it could. You could see the calving of the ice into the bay.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We did not do an excursion but walked to town. The town is not much to look at but the people were nice. The walk was the best part. It is 1 1/2 mile to town. The touristy area of this port it the icy strait point where they have a long zip line and other things to do. I loved walking on the beach and looking at the rocks.

Juneau, Alaska

We did a gold panning excursion. Was expensive but they took us up in the mountains to gold creek to pan. I took my shoes off and waded for 5 minutes before my feet froze. The town was nice but we didn't have time to do the tram or mendenhall glacier. Make sure you do the tram but buy your tickets on the boat.

Cruise Sawyer Glacier

Was fascinating to float down to see the glacier!

Skagway, Alaska

My favorite port. We did an excursion from foxshores. It was a motor coach to White pass. It was wonderful. We got a picture in front of the welcome to Alaska sign and saw snow flurries. We got to come back through border security.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Make sure you start early and go to the state park or to the Saxman area. We didn't book the tour but tried to take public transportation and it was too sketchy. We never made it. We walked around town and looked at the totems in town and shopped. Married mans trail was beautiful. Its behind the Creek street area which was very interesting.

Norwegian staff who transported our luggage broke my daughters wheel right off her suitcase. Another person in our party had her luggage broken too. Don't let them take your luggage to the dock. Take it yourself.
