Could not enter this under "cabin," but it was significantly smaller than the equivalent cabin class on the Escape. Also, there was a persistent mold odor in the bathroom that triggered my wife's asthma. Cabin steward tried to treat this but it persisted.

While the NCL app is generally very helpful, the staff admitted to us that they do not update the information as regularly as they do the Freestyle Daily. Accordingly, if there are schedule changes you are likelier to find out about them on the Freestyle Daily than you are on the app.

Please avoid the nachos and the artichoke dip at O'Sheehans. Both are tasteless. On the other hand, the burgers and chicken wings are quite good.

If you are cruising first time in Europe from the states...it’s very easy and no language barriers. I found the American tourists on board to be very polite and thoughtful. I can’t say as much for others. Staff went out of their way to make everyone happy. Some people just can’t be pleased. Also, if you can afford, bring $1’s. It’s ok to tip a dollar for a drink. That’s money strait in their pocket. In the European cruises no one tips so you could see how happy they were for something so little.

The best tip I have, if you are able, is to use the stairs when going down from deck to deck and use the elevators when going up if it is more than a deck or 2. Doing this will allow you to move quickly around the ship and between decks.

The Spinnaker lounge was a good place to sit when the weather was not good enough to sit out on deck.
