Transatlantic repositioning cruise. First six days at sea, cold and windy, got a little tedious. Port calls, in the Azores, France and England, were great.
Glad we did it, but we probably would not do this itinerary again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Miami cruise terminal does it right. Quick, courteous, very little waiting.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Campared to our previous experience on Norwegian, the food has gone downhill a little. Good, not great. Desserts were disappointing and repetitive. Exception: Cagney's Steakhouse - excellent.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Could not use pool or on deck facilities due to the weather - cold and windy. Casino, bingo, painting classes etc. were fine but it all got a bit old after six continuous days at sea.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
No complaints. Cabin steward was very attentive and always available.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
An older ship, recently refurbished. With the exception noted below, it was clean and well kept up.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip
Could not enter this under "cabin," but it was significantly smaller than the equivalent cabin class on the Escape. Also, there was a persistent mold odor in the bathroom that triggered my wife's asthma. Cabin steward tried to treat this but it persisted.
NCL did not plan well for UK immigration formalities. Took a long time and cut an hour or more off our shore excursion time. Tour to Salisbury and Stonehenge. Salisbury Cathedral is very impressive; weather at Stonehenge so cold and windy we could not enjoy it.
