Review summary

I did this itinerary as I love Northern Spain, and had never seen Portugal. This is part of my DNA research, and loved finding that the celtic areas of Spain were part of this itinerary! This cruise is not offered that often, so when it comes around, be sure to book the cruise!

Cagney's was fabulous, but the buffet is super too. My only request is that all guests, to include Asians, need to respect the handcap seating in the dining areas. Consistently Asians, pretending not to understand the meaning of a big handicap sign, took over the handicap tables in the buffet. If you market to people with disabilities, having suitable places for wheel chairs and scooters, and walkers, is important.

Due to a strike, we could not go to Bordeaux. La Rochelle was a nice surprise.

Overall it was a good cruise. Cabin wasn’t the best we have had. Only one side of the bed had bedside table. Vanity surfaces were rather small. Food was not as good as we have had on previous cruises and the service was not as good.
HITS AND MISSES
Fair, outrageously expensive : $ 12.52 for a domestic beer!! We are Platinum card member, NCL did not tell us when the Welcome aboard party would be, it no longer has the Latitudes reward party, half the shows are done by the ships staff.
