This is the second time cruising with you. The SUN, about 10 years ago was a pretty good experience but not excellent. We just expect too much comparing to Royal Line. This was the first time we cruised and couldn't wait to get off the boat. We were board! We dance a lot. Nothing going on, on this ship. The shows sparse and not that good. The food, just not great. We will probably never choose this cruise line again.

Despite the cancellations of ports and delays on the cruise it was a good first experience.

The Jade was a nice ship but it showed its age by its size and things to do. For the most part the food was excellent except for the last night's dinner, apparently our waiter had a bad day and they seemed to forgotten how to cook a steak to order. All the other meals were great, keep in mind the last night was an "extra" night do to the mechanical issue.

Enjoyable getaway for our family including married children and grandchildren. Would have like more activities available for the young ones. Staff is energenic and outgoing.

We had a last minute Itinerary change due to Hurricane Beryl. We ended up going to San Juan Puerto Rico, Tortola BVI & Puerto Plata DR. We did not have enough time for researching war to do at these ports, so we winged it. Walked around San Juan, there is a few to enter the forts now. Tortola was very short (6am-1pm). We only walked the port, didn’t even venture out of it. Puerta Plata, if you are physically able to do the Damajagua falls excursion with the ship. Part of our party did it & was late back to the ship which is why we did sail away yet. They give you a helmet & life vest. You will be dunked & going under the water. For those who don’t swim, once you get off the ship & go towards the duty free store to the left, you can find the lay river & pool which is complimentary.

When originally booked, this cruise was for Key West, but changed by Norwegian w/o explanation. Our first cruise, booked for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. A little disappointed, but this cruise was still very enjoyable. We would definitely book with Norwegian again.

Went with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Had a wonderful time on and off the ship. Great memories!

Overall, we are very happy with the cruise and can't wait to book another. Norwegian was definitely the best choice for us! Since it was our first cruise, we got a FREE UB unlimited beverage package which is like $1200 for 2 people! Lucky for them, we aren't huge partiers! it was gorgeous, the trip was smoothe, the staff was amazing, and the boat was very clean

Not the best, not the worst. Older crowd, not many kids. The stops are ok.

Overall, our cruise was enjoyable and the service was impeccable. There were a few items that I would like to mention I found disappointing. I have been on over a dozen cruises in the past and found that the NCL Jade had smaller cabins, fewer selections for dinner service, and fewer daily activities on board then other cruise lines. I must add that the Jade is a smaller cruise liner with less people that the larger liners. There was inadequate information given about the ports of call (only one information session the first day about the entire 9 day cruise). The time on the islands was abbreviated, with some of them having to back on the ship as early as 2:30. And the last comment I have is the dress code for the dining rooms. I found it much to casual. Maybe I'm old fashioned but, for dinner service in the dining rooms proper attire should be enforced. Shorts, tee shirts, and flip flops should not be allowed. That style of dress should be reserved for the buffet or by the pool deck only.

Was a short 5-day getaway. Ship was clean with plenty of awesome crew members. Would do it again!

We love the Haven but sailing without a Haven bar and dining room detracts from the ship. Crew was really excellent, room attendant and butler were top notch. Haven concierge was a magician getting us into the specialty restaurants. Haven pool and attendant were spot on.

The cruise was great.. We had a blast. Smaller ship so we did find ourselves with a good amount of down time. The staff was AMAZING. Enjoyed all the ports of call. The Elements show was OUTSTANDING.

Was an ok cruise, because of the excessive noise outside of our cabin in the hallways from people passing through between the hours of 12:30 A.M through 2:30 A.M we had very little sleep in (11) days. I informed Customer Service of the excessive noise but the noise continued the duration of the cruise.

This is a terrible ship, crew, entertainment and cabin. Do not waste your money on this company!

It was amazing, entertaining, and definitely worth it! The only thing I have to say that could be improved is the maximum amount of kids allowed in the kids’ club, which was only 42. The food is ALWAYS good and is of great variety, and I’m a foodie!! My balcony suite was worth it! The Open bar was also worth it and convenient! I loved getting off the ship everyday to somewhere new!! Take this much-deserved cruise with family!!

Good ship for a first timer. Overall decent time but the food needs a serious upgrade.

the only complaint i have with the whole experience with is i never received the $75 visa gift card i was promised. if i don't receive the extra promotions, i'll just book directly with the cruise line in the future.

Nothing WOW about this ship. We liked Dawn and Bliss much better. If not for extreme overcrowd I would rate this cruise higher. It was like a tin packed with sardines with a lot of children, which were not on their best behavior. Not to much to do for kids on this ship, so they were running in all public species.
