Be sure to attend the entertainment that is offered. The entertainment director is fantastic, as is his staff. Take advantage of all the fee entry but I encourage you to see Burn the Floor and Cirque Dreams and Steam. Well worth the money.

It looks like paying for the Haven may be worth it so you get access to another pool. But, we couldn't get in to see for sure.

Get a room mid ship or aft. If you book through Norwegian you can pick your cabin location (if you book early enough). We booked through Priceline and we were stuck in the front of the ship. Almost everything is mid ship or aft...a lot of walking.

The service crew that take care of the rooms are great. I regret not having more tip money for our Aldwin. He was terrific!

Make reservations early! Save your pool deck chairs very early if you want to be by the pool and dj

If you are traveling with 4 adults cabin 9316 will not accommodate you comfortably there isn’t enough sleeping space.

The Norwegian Getaway caters to a younger crowd, so it was probably not the best choice for an older (70 and 69) couple like us. The pools were always overcrowded. We are not teetotalers, and we enjoyed wine and cocktails on the ship. However, the unlimited beverage package that many passengers elected made it feel like a "booze cruise" at times.

Don’t get a inside room if you have more than 2 people staying in room. Space is too tight

NOT kid friendly; bring LOTS of cleaning materials, own towels and own bedding....or you might be sleeping and drying off with something used by the prior guest and not washed.

Must have dinner at Teppenyaki and Moderno! The Pineapple Coconut Mojito at Sugarcane is the best!

Everything about the trip was amazing. If I can give you one piece of advice, bring your own paper/stainless steel straws since they no longer use plastic ones on the ship!

Dont spend your hard earned money on this ship, not worht a dime, very disaapointed. will not be cruising on Norweigan ever again!!
