Traveled with a group of 12 family members. We had had 5 cabins and everybody was happy.

This was an average experience; the worst of the 5 Norwegian cruises I've been on. The service was uninspiring and mediocre at best, with a few exceptions. The entertainment on the ship was average. And I felt nickle and dime at various times. The pool area is very small and poorly laid out. If you want a lounge chair in the sun, get up very early at the days at sea. My advice - try another NCL ship.

Overall this has been my favorite Norwegian cruise so far! Great food...great entertainment...Great times! Can’t wait to plan my next one!

The only problem with the Cruise is the space of the Cabin. We are definitely going on another cruise in 2019 and we will be going on Norwegian Cruise Line. We are looking at Southern Carribean. We will just be picking outer own Cabins.

Had a good time!! Wish the ship was cleaner. Food was excellent in all the restaurants. Buffet needs to add more variety. Entertainment was above average.

Freestyle dining does not promote excellence in service, or a convenient flow to entertainment. I never saw an attendant in a public restroom, and it was the first time of 22 cruises that we’ve experienced toilets that continually would not flush.

I rate NCL in the same category as Carnival. Cheap, Low Class, obnoxious, rude clientele. I will never cruise NCL again.

Very relaxing. the ship is easy to get around in and the food and drinks are excellent.

Very disappointed. Staff was unfriendly and sometime rude. If you’re a smoker, you will be accommodated with a smoking cage beside the main pool, a small area on deck 8 and another small area on deck 16. There is also smoking in the casino IF you are playing. Food was ok but not great. If you call for room service, be prepared for a long wait. When the ship docks EVERYTHING shuts down including the bars. They force you to leave the ship.

Our cabin number was 14700, not 8750. Claudia, cabin stewardess was wonderful and very attentive to our needs and wants even before we asked for something.

I have cruised many times before and this was the first negative cruise experience I can remember. The staff was very indifferent, and borderline rude. It seems that since NCL has added the Unlimited Beverage Package, despite the fact you pay like $250 per person in gratuities for just this package, the bartenders and waiters don't see much of that money because they are very unwelcoming, unfriendly, and make you feel uncomfortable even ordering a drink. This was present everywhere- at the bars, restaurants, and even just the front desk employees. I typically love Norwegian so I was shocked at this atmosphere. I was very disappointed with this cruise.

Great Cruise with Friends and would do another Norwegian Cruise. They are a great company

Cruised with four couples; had a wonderful time. Our second cruise on the Getaway and will cruise Norwegian again.

Duty free shopping is always fun, get the dining package as an incentive. IF you are a drinker pick it up, it's well worth it.

First cruise with NCL - already looking for next cruise with NCL!!!

We enjoyed the cruise, our cabin was good, the food was great and the theatre shows excellent. We found many of the American guests very loud and inconsiderate, which was an irritation. We would have liked an area on deck for peaceful sunbathing, no music, no shouting and fellow sailors with manners!

After 15 times going with RCCL, we decided to try NCL. This was totally disappointing. To many things as describe them all here. Just a few: No refill souvenir cup for the soft drink package, but every time disposable PLASTIC cups! This in the time of "to much plastic on the Ocean". So, NCL doesn't care about environment :-( The Casino is wide open to all sides in the middle of the ship. That means the ugly smelling smoke was everyway! This is disgusting. We were reading about that issue on review before we went, but we never expected, that it was so bad. The guest service people don't care. We have had some issue, but they didn't help. On a RCCL ship the Windjammer Buffet is wide, bright, open and has a lot of space for seating. On NCL everything was very narrow, which means people in front of you, at the side and behind you. Also, the crew was not cleaning the tables. It was a disaster. WE LOVE FISH and it was very difficult to find fish meals at the buffet! Sometimes they did "fried fish" which is not healthy at all. So, you are on the middle of the Ocean and they don't serve FISH at a buffet? That's funny. We are just glad, the now we know for sure: RCCL forever!

Great weather, small sea's and an very enjoyable time

Entertainment was definitely for the senior groups. Understaffed bars, especially on sea days. A very boring ship.

We had a great time. The boat was beautiful, the food was amazing and the onboard activities were very entertaining.
