Review summary
After 15 times going with RCCL, we decided to try NCL. This was totally disappointing. To many things as describe them all here. Just a few: No refill souvenir cup for the soft drink package, but every time disposable PLASTIC cups! This in the time of "to much plastic on the Ocean". So, NCL doesn't care about environment :-( The Casino is wide open to all sides in the middle of the ship. That means the ugly smelling smoke was everyway! This is disgusting. We were reading about that issue on review before we went, but we never expected, that it was so bad. The guest service people don't care. We have had some issue, but they didn't help. On a RCCL ship the Windjammer Buffet is wide, bright, open and has a lot of space for seating. On NCL everything was very narrow, which means people in front of you, at the side and behind you. Also, the crew was not cleaning the tables. It was a disaster. WE LOVE FISH and it was very difficult to find fish meals at the buffet! Sometimes they did "fried fish" which is not healthy at all. So, you are on the middle of the Ocean and they don't serve FISH at a buffet? That's funny. We are just glad, the now we know for sure: RCCL forever!Embarkation
