There is not a bad cruise so we enjoyed just to compare it with others is less special

This is the first balcony stateroom. I'm hooked. What a wonderful way to spend spring break.

I had a good time but it could have been better. Some of the staff was polite.

I brought my soon to be wife on her first cruise with high hopes and for the most part our cruise experience was really nice, it started out really good but unfortunately, it ended terribly. First the housekeeper shoved her purse into the tiny cubby in our stateroom tearing the stitching and the entire zipper on her very expensive hand bag. She was upset and moody after that then we went to dinner and i got deathly sick. It was the last night on the cruise so i know for certain it was something i ate on the ship and after narrowing down the possibilities,I can say with absolute certainty, i will NEVER eat prime rib ever again in my life. I was so sick that night the following morning while packing an preparing to exit the ship, through customs and then on our 24 hour car trip home. I was sick for days and i am very upset about the entire thing.

Norwegian prices are up and services have been cut.

Could have been better. Not comparable to other cruise lines for the same cost.

Had a great time with every event possible on the ship! Family fun.

This was our second cruise on the getaway and 3rd overall with Norwegian. We went with the getaway again because we knew we loved the boat plus it went to a couple of stops we haven't been to yet. Look forward to our next cruise!

Overall everything was good but I honestly wouldn't do another Norwegian cruise knowing that Royal Caribbean cruises check off all boxes for me. I had no complaints after getting off of the oasis of the seas. Norwegians drinks were ridiculously expensive I paid $18 for a bahama mama and hennessy I think was $30. The entertainment sucked and the deal or no deal game was a hoax and was impossible to really win anything. All of the activities for entertainment involved u spending more and more money.

Forget the suites, they are no more than balcony. Forget the drink packages, they are waaaay to expensive and bartenders slow play you everywhere on the boat. The buffet is only good very early or very late. The boat was very clean and staff good except for internet supervisor who is terrible! The internet was spotty at best, and unreliable. Don’t waste your money on it. Other than that it was a great trip.

Overall great cruise. Just need to go into it knowing it's spring break and lots and lots of people. at times it was annoying but nothing you could not get around. weather was great. Suite was great with plenty of room. only complaint was with the poolside bartenders. they were understaffed and not always friendly. Meals on ship were great at specialty dining rooms. good selection. Entertainment was good too.

We enjoyed our Getaway on the NCL Getaway. Pluses and Minus about the ship so we just made the best of it. I would not intentionally book this ship again, but I also would not avoid it in the future if the islands were good stops.

First cruise as a couple and would recommend this cruise line and ports for anyone. Plenty to do, eat and enjoy. Great trip, and hated to have to return. Would do this again!

Overall the cruise was nice. Food was good, definitely get the drink package. This was my first on Norwegian and two on Royal Caribbean. If I do another cruise (I prefer all inclusive beach resorts) I think I would try a different ship on Royal, one with a big atrium

As I said in the beginning, third time is a charm.. We have been on this exact cruise 3 times in the last year and love it. One reason besides the Getaway and the ports is some of the great crew members. One of which, Praeven, who is a bartender is fantastic and very caring about his customers.

Overall this cruise was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a vacation. We can't wait until our next NCL cruise!

The pre and post cruise service by American Airlines travel advisor Cathy Walker exceeded our expectations with her continuing follow-up calls to ensure that our needs were met. Chef Michael who appeared to be overseeing the food and beverage operations at the Garden Cafe was very attentive to detail which made for a excellent dining experience. Wilfred of the Housekeeping staff exceeded our expectations by referring to us by name on the first day. The two comedians were world-class, extremely funny entertainers. The pool and pool area was too small for the number of passengers and the dance music (played each night) on the 16th aft deck was inconsistent (mostly catered to teens and young 20s) with the age of the large majority of the ship's audience which appeared to average 47 to 57 years old.

We paid way too much for this cruise and we deserve better. I was extremely disappointed in the food and that our state room was dirty. The ports were ok, even if they all had the same types of amenities.

Great ship, good ports, wonderful dining. Entertainment was average but the many bars are awesome. Beautiful ship layout, extremely clean with well designed cabins. Lots of daily planned activities. Tiny pool with more than normal amount of lounge chair "savers".
