Review summary

Overall everything was good but I honestly wouldn't do another Norwegian cruise knowing that Royal Caribbean cruises check off all boxes for me. I had no complaints after getting off of the oasis of the seas. Norwegians drinks were ridiculously expensive I paid $18 for a bahama mama and hennessy I think was $30. The entertainment sucked and the deal or no deal game was a hoax and was impossible to really win anything. All of the activities for entertainment involved u spending more and more money.

The food was surprising better than other cruises but I do wish there were more options for free.

The fitness center was okay didn't have any machines really. And it was hard to run on the track because many people are already on the deck even by 7-8am. On Royal Caribbean the track was not situated in the center of the ship and made it easier to jog at any time without being watched by people. The rock climbing was good and the ropes course was very cool as well. The adult pools being situated so close to the children's area was frustrating as well. Some kids would come over and participate in the adult pool games from time to time.

Entertainment

The DJ at the club was excellent, the music he played was perfect and he hit every demographic. The ships entertainments such as shows; there were actually none. They only had cirque dreams and that cost money. It seems like most of the entertainment cost money. I mean if I am comparing it to my last cruise which was Royal Caribbeans Oasis of the seas it was absolutely horrible. I did 3 shows on just a 5 day cruise and all 3 shows were free. I couldn't believe Norwegian's only show cost money.

They were bored in the children's program and hungry! On other cruises they at least bring them food and take them around the boat. They just kept them in a room like a daycare.

I didn't like that we were not in the mainland and we were stuck there if we didn't do an excursion. We wanted to explore local eateries but they didn't have the ferry service that day because not enough people signed up to leave supposedly.
