Overall the cruise was nice. Food was good, definitely get the drink package. This was my first on Norwegian and two on Royal Caribbean. If I do another cruise (I prefer all inclusive beach resorts) I think I would try a different ship on Royal, one with a big atrium
Embarkation

We had a very nice time
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
All the food was good, staff was friendly. I really didn't like that you had to pay extra for some things...like specialty coffee or restaurants that is if you do not get the specialty meal package.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The adult pool was ok...no one really swam because of the size and it was 6.8 ft deep. The Spice H2O in the AFT (back) of the ship was nice...waterfalls to sit under and no loud music..good place to relax and read a book or get some sun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to two of the shows and they were great. I would recommend reserving your spots early for any of the shows, they fill up.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone on the ship were helpful and friendly. They definitely work hard and keep the boat looking great.
Ship Quality

It was good.
Cabin / Stateroom

Other than the pole outside my stateroom, the room itself was nice. No complaints.
Ship tip
Reserve shows and restaruants ahead of time. You can always change them on the ship later.
Very nice island...great big pool and swim up bar...but very expensive. bring your own drinks including water! no water offered unless you pay. plenty of chairs on beach and around pool.
the area off the ship is busy. There is lots of shopping and a pool. good to get off ship and walk around, really no need to go anywhere else. We did take a shuttle to the little town...no big deal. old and for tourists really. beaches are not great and you can rent a chair for $5-10. and beers are $3 basically. lots of similar souvenirs as other stops.
This was a good stop for excursions, shopping and just walking around...have everything you need including a grocery/pharmacy store. You can just stay in the area that is a mall...no need to go further if you choose.
