I will never suggest 10872 ,not enough storage,to use closet u walk side way if you are over weight GUARANTEED you will not able to use it

I have been on the Getaway twice and like the ship. 10872 is a balcony cabin like any other balcony cabin on Getaway, Breakaway, etc. This cabin has the sofa next to the window and the bed next to the closet. Cabin 10874 has the opposite configuration. Lots of space when using the closet but less space between the bed and the sliding door to the balcony. Deck plans of most ships are published on several websites and might help you to choose your cabin.

We have been on the Getaway before and had a great time. Beautiful ship, wonderful staff, nice staterooms, and wonderful included dining options. So sorry you had an issue that caused you not to enjoy your trip.

Perhaps cruising is no longer for you. I believe you are just disgruntled about paying more than you did in the past so now you need to make petty complaints. Do you realize how much more cruise lines are paying for fuel and food. It's costing them more to make the same cruise they did 3 years ago, but somehow you don't think that's fair to you.
