This was my son and I first vac and cruise after 6 years ! We did enjoy ourselves and we don’t regret anything! 12 days is a little too long for us and there were hardly any people 30-50 on this cruise . Most people were over 65 and that’s ok too but my son likes to move fast around the ship lol ! I regret purchasing the Vibe Pass as I hardly used it and often it was closed due to dangerous weather or too windy to enjoy one self ! It’s a lot of money and I wish I never bought it . Overall the ship is beautiful and we never went hungry ! The mojito bar was phenomenal and just wish all the drinks didn’t taste like fruit juice ( and I hardly drink lol ) food was decent and Norwegian needs better entertainment and more hosted events for younger crowds.

The cruise port to get on the ship is disorganized and packed and everyone is cutting lines and people are just rude ! Once you get through to customs and the main line to board , it goes smoothly after that !

The buffet is a hot mess and full to the max everyday ! I did like how they had lots of meatless options and I appreciate that ! We had lots of variety ( except at breakfast ) but we were never hungry ! The La Cucina was delicious ! The bartenders were all amazing except all the alcohol drinks had hardly any liquor in them . I know it’s to save money but honestly all the drinks tasted like fruit juice . The alcohol on the islands were strong and how they should be lol !
Onboard Activities

On this cruise there were either newlyweds or nearly dead! Lol there were not many things to do for ages 30-50 . Actually this cruise hardly had any people my age ! I wish there were more hosted young adult activities. My 20 yr old son was bored . The pools were often too crowded but we tried to use them! The spa is very nice . The smaller pool was easier to get into due to lack of people knowing it’s there .
Entertainment

The Zenitt Band were the best entertainment on the entire ship ! Without them , idk what Norwegian is thinking with their entertainment.

Everyone that walked by always said hello or good morning , etc . My housekeeper Giovanni was top class and he showed amazing service ! His smile and kindness was extraordinary!
Ship Quality

They need bigger areas for shows and some of the entertainment. Too crowded in the atrium every single night ! So many nights , we wanted to go down there and watch an event but no place to sit or too many people hover around that area . The cleaning crew were exceptional esp in the buffet !
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was great ! The size and we separated our beds and the bathroom had lovely lighting! The balcony was the perfect touch !
Ship tip
My 3 friends and I decided to buy the Vibe Club which is access to our own sun deck on top of the boat with bar and hot tubs . That was the worst mistake ever ! That cost of about $300 and it was not worth that at all ! It was so windy up there that you couldn’t catch your breath! Plus many times we tried going up there and the Vibe was closed due to weather conditions!! Awful ! I think we used it 2-3 times and we all were so disappointed on how much money we spent for nothing ! There’ is so music up there and just nice chairs that we couldn’t even use !
Barbados was so much fun and we went to a beach ! Getting chairs is so difficult due to how many people are there but the people there are pleasant and once we were settled , it was so beautiful
We did resort for the day at Sunscape Resort and we should have stayed in Amber Cove but we didn’t know that they changed ports for DR last minute . Amber Cove is so pretty but because our resort for the day was so far away , we had to run back to the ship !
Thx for the ship tip, I was on the fence about purchasing the Vibe or the spa pass since we have an inside cabin for 11 nights & might need a sanctuary to spread out & relax😉
