Overall, this was the worst cruise I have ever been on and we don’t think we will ever do a Norwegian cruise again. It was still vacation so it was good but 2 days into the cruise we were already counting down the days until we could get off the boat. We tried to make the best of it since it was 14 days long, but every day there was something new that just made us wish we had chosen a different vacation.
The good-bars, live music, and million dollar quartet, our room steward, portrait studio, and bartenders
The bad-everything else
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were absolutely amazing. Main dining rooms had slow or nonexistent service (15 min to receive a glass of milk for a baby on a regular basis), cold food delivered, forgetting to deliver food or requested drinks altogether, and the food was ok but certainly not great.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools were great when they were open and especially the hot tubs. Unfortunately the kids pool was broken nearly every day of the cruise. The rock wall and ropes course was often closed due to high winds which couldn’t be helped. The planned activities on the ship were amusing but there weren’t many except for daily crossword and sudoku challenges in the morning and two or three things in the late afternoon.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Stage shows were great but too many people on board for the theatre. You had to reserve seats for all shows, even the free ones, just so you could get in the door.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
For under 3 there was no daily program. The playroom was good, small but adequate for short periods of time. There were only activities twice a day (sometimes once) where the staff hosted them but they always seemed to be during nap or dinner time (9 am and 515 pm). When we could go, they were fun.
Service and Staff

Room steward was awesome. We had a messy 1 year old and he definitely kept up with her insanity. Waiters in the main dining rooms were terrible, see above. With the exception of maybe 3. The waiters in the specialty restaurants were good. And bartenders were pretty good everywhere.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship just came out of dry dock but there was carpet fuzz everywhere for the first week that my daughter loved to find. A few of the touch screens were broken throughout the ship and that is what you used to reserve dinner seats (even for main dining room) and see what was going on. Some of the lettering above doors and elevators were falling off. The internet never worked. Overall, I simply cannot believe the ship just came out of dry dock, I feel like it should be on its way there now.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was average. The shower was bigger than expected which we appreciated.
Ship tip
Book dining even in the main dining room for every night the day you get on the ship so you’re guaranteed to get to eat without waiting 45 minutes or longer. The Irish pub was always awesome and had shorter waits.
The ship left Copenhagen 5 hours late because they were still loading supplies on the ship. They gave us a $50 credit per stateroom though..... certainly didn’t make up for it.
