Review summary

First time on Norwegian. So much fun. Loved this beautiful ship and all of the space and activities. Much, much livelier than the Holland ship on which we sailed last time. A bit less elegant perhaps, but gorgeous atrium, more restaurants, excellent food/drink. Service not as good at it should have been. The only show we attended was awful - singers. Left early.

We paid for the Vibe area on top of the ship for the whole week and were so glad we did. Excellent service up there. Well worth the $$ for the privacy and peace. Bar steps away from lovely padded lounge chairs. Waiters who bring fruited water and drinks. Great!

The whole ship was chock full of stuff to do and lively people to do it with. Danced up on top of the ship at least 3 nights. SO fun!

Loved our room so much - a mini-suite. Super super bathroom.

Overall, we loved the Norwegian Getaway.

The singing group in the theater was awful. Actually fell asleep and left early. Boring, not very creative in style, costume, dancing, etc. Howl at the Moon was just ok. Venue reminded me of a dive college bar. Not a fan of that atmosphere anymore.

Unfortunately, service did not live up to standards of the only other ship on which we've been - a Holland ship. Service in most restaurants was pretty sub-par.

The ship was not as elegant as the Holland ship, but I loved its gorgeous atrium and lively design. Awesome.

Loved our cabin. Awesome bathroom with lots of space. Room was bigger than the Holland one we had last time. Wonderful bed. Great overall!

Amazingly beautiful water. Wish there had been something to do close by the port though. A beach or something without having to spend all day on an excursion.
