Ship too crowded, not enough outdoor areas, we are in our 50's and felt as if we were treated as children- don't eat there, don't smoke there- too many rules and not enough areas to just relax without huge crowds esp on sea days. Some of the workers tended to be rude to an extent. Norweigan does not apply the do it your way, do it when you like at all. I have cruised twice before and never felt this way and the last cruise was on Norweigan and that is why I chose again, but it sure was a different scenario this time around, makes me never want to cruise again.

Was disappointed in the lack of choices for dinner on menus however the quality of the food was usually very good, don't think they should have up charge foods on menus- I thought that was what the specialty restaurants were for.

Manny and Alex in the Bar on Deck 8- great and funny- nice relaxing place to be- too bad the bar wasnt bigger because they were always busy, not enough places to sit, esp for a smoker. Also our cabin steward Jess- he did an outstanding job to always make sure we had whatever we needed, ie: ice x2 daily and room was always spotless.

Was awful- I will NEVER cruise again in an inside room, it made me feel claustrophobic and was very dry, woke up with a bloody nose and coughing so bad I had to go out of room to an outside area to get air and catch my breath. The only good thing about our cabin was our cabin steward and how nice he always made it for us.
Ship tip
Do not book an interior room unless you absolutely have to, I figured we wouldn't be spending much time in so it wouldn't matter but it does.
Beautiful beaches and lots of nice shopping, however the locals are always trying to pull you in their shops and beware of those trying to sell you something at their Pharmacies.
If your easily pushed around you will have a bad time , when we cruise we act like we own it!!! And have a blast!!! Anyone that complains about any cruise should stay on land! Whiners
We had a great time. There are always good and bad on any cruise but the good out waived the bad. I enjoyed the various dining options. No one told us where we could not eat. Some are speciality resturants that you had to pay for but the complimentary dining was just as good. We did picked the wrong time of year because the college age kids were raring to go which was probably why the pool was crowded but we have a pool at home so it wasn't a big issue. As far as smoking goes, I would prefer smoking not to be allowed anywhere on the boat but thats just me. I would have liked to went to the casino but it smelled because smoking was allowed. So we prefer to stay far away from the smokers. Overall, I would go again. We put deposit on 2 future cruises.
I found there were way more then enough outdoor areas. And I personally found there were too many zones people were smoking in. Especially the casino could have a spot smoke free anywhere. I loved this cruise.
Sorry you did not enjoy your cruise. Don't give up on cruising. Try one of the better cruise lines. I always divide the tonnage of a ship by the # of guest to get the ratio of space per person. The better lines have more space per guest.
Sorry to hear that you didn't have a good time ....we are going in June and we enjoy the pool area hope that it is better thank goodness we are early risers
