Review summary

Somewhat disappointing. NCL was very aggressive about trying to charge for everything they could. Only a few meal venues were included in the price. Some entertainment was charged. Their shore excursions were very expensive. And, they had a mandatory service charge policy. Tips are for services rendered. NCL should pay their employees, not the customer. As a result, service for the most part was mediocre. My $1400 trip (for two) came out to be $3500. That's with no shore excursions and no extra dining charges.

I like that we were't required to dress up. However, I did not appreciate that many of their venues were for extra pay. Cruises should be all inclusive.

Some was excellent like the dueling pianos. But the main theater entertainment was weak. The Acapella group wasn't really acapella as they were accompanied by background music.

It was fine and it was clean. However, not enough electrical outlets.

Ship tip

Don't waste your money on the internet package. It was ridiculously slow. If NCL wants to offer this service, they should make sure it works reasonably well. This is a new ship too. I HATED their tip policy. They charged each person regardless of service received. Tips should not be mandatory!
