Get a cabin that parks viewing the city. We faced the Port side which was the best side for everything. Sun Set, Ocean view, Bermuda City View, Free slow wifi from balcony or port area.

whenever possible, grab your buffet meals and head out to the back deck. it is the gem of the Gem. also the spinakker lounge early in the morning is a great place to go for a quiet spot with great views. dont pass up the free ferry to st. georges

Be sure to purchase the Therma Spa pass! It was great to be able to go in the spa for hydrotherapy, heated lounge chairs, sauna, aromatherapy steam room, and fabulous views

Follow the fish on the carpet in the cabin corridors and you will always find the front of the ship. Lonely red fish swims toward the back of the ship.

It's a very nice ship. It is very easy to get around because it's small. There are plenty of options for activities and dining.

This is a complaint. Boston is a cold port to leave from in the spring. Even on a nice day the Sailaway can be cold and windy. The Gem has a great place to go for Sailaway in cold or wet weather: Spinnaker Lounge. On the 5/31 Sailaway it was close for a private function. The hell with all the paying passengers this small group was more important. That was my rant.
