After 2 years of not cruising this was heaven. No masks were required on board and it felt very natural. Felt safe.

We were so happy to start cruising again with the same excellent experience as always. The shows, food, buffets, islands were all the same great experience. Back to living life at its fullest. Enjoy your cruises. Life goes fast.

After long pandemic it was nice to cruise again on NCL. All the time during sail we had nice weather. Amenities, food, drinks, activities, entertainment, stateroom and everything else was just right to get back to cruising. I want to thank all the staff and specially cruise director by name Jasper, who participated in everything what was going on the ship.

NCL as a company has the most INEPT and INSUFFICIENT COMMUNICATIONS EVER! There was NO announcement about skipping the Charleston, SC port. The announcement for skipping the Great Stirrup Cay port came AFTER we had done a U-turn in the ocean, and were headed back for another 3 days on the water (after already having 2 - for a total of 5 days out of a 7-day cruise!). The captain and others knew in advance what the conditions were like and could have primed the customers about the possibility long before we got there and made the U-turn. And as other customers questioned at the main desk: What about Nassau? What about Freeport? We don't know anything about whether or not they tried to make substitutions to make the trip worth it for us. But what really rubbed lots of us the wrong way was that the main desk representatives were arrogantly adamant that "we're not doing anything," when customers asked about gratuitous wifi or a meal in a specialty restaurant or even a complimentary drink to soften the blow of the disappointment. They persisted and we got nothing! Suffice it to say I am done with NCL!

1st cruise in almost 2 years, little things did not bother us. Was just happy to be cruising again

my wife and I really enjoyed the GEM we will be returning for future travels thank you to all the staff for being so kind and making our vacation so enjoyable

This was a perfect cruise to discover how cruises would look after COVID. We couldn’t have been happier. While there were many changes there was also many things the same. We are looking forward to many more cruises with NCL.

Great trip on Norwegian gem Would do it agai . Keep up the good work

It was a terrible start. Elaboration took over two hours people in line were fainting. The gem did not have bar service in buffet, only beer and opened bottles of wine

Had a wonderful time. Went to new places. Met new friends. Great escape from all the covid nonsense. Can't wait till next cruise

Not enough variation of food on the buffet, need to COOK the bacon--most people do not like "wiggly-way under cooked bacon", way too much salt--let people add their own. Be a little more generous with some of the dishes (sides) in restaurants and speciality restaurants. Garden cafe--uses too many red onions in the tuna salad!!

This was a trip of a lifetime! Was it perfect? No. Would I take it again? Absolutely!

My daughter and I had a great time on this cruise. There was plenty to do, plenty of down time, exciting new places to visit, good beaches and good food.

Enjoyable cruise. Free sulking is fun. Ports of call varied and should be reviewed by Norwegian.

The cruise was well-worth the time and money. We met some great people, both on and off the ship. We relaxed, laid in the sun, read, and still enjoyed the entertainment and time in the ports.

Much enjoyed Travelling solo shortly after my spouse passed but met many lovely folks and the cruise was very good for me

Going across the Panama Canal was interesting and I was glad I went but will never book another NCL cruise again.

I really do like NCL. I would use them again but I would not necessarily choose the Gem. The destinations were nice though...Not much for holiday décor on the ship. A few Christmas trees and music. Tastefully done.

Great convenient trip to sun and fun! Love this size ship and wish all the lines would stop with the megaships!
