Breakfast Buffet was cold..shows just so so..nso..noso..nso..no straws

Women Servers need to be kinder and more patient and accommodating.

Just OK, really a boring cruise which made it restful. I'm still amazed how the ship gets bounced around in rough seas. Really sad that employees can't speak or understand English. The purple key card means nothing on board.

fue una expeiencia muy linda par mi y mis ninas me hubiera gustado que hubiera mas activitidades para jovenes, como charlas , juegos de mesas con otros jovenes y otras activitidades . de lo demas estuvi estupendo el staff las comidas , deberia haber un tiempo limitado parra el area de los warm family pool, no lo pude disfrutar porque otras personas spent all day inside the pool. pero gracias a todos por todos son muy amables .

This was my first cruise and it met my expectations, but boarding was slow and the daytime entertainment should be better.

Im just so angry with the lack of communication with me as a customer and not informing me of everything else that must be paid for..

It was the 1st time that I have ever taken a cruise and I loved the actual cruise itself. I did not like the boarding in NY as my understanding was that when you complete the online registration I would not still be standing in line for 3 hours to board. Getting off the ship was smoother but still came with disruptions from other passagners that require asistan e that chose to be quite rude and continue to push people myself included with there motorized scooters instead of waiting for the line to clear. Other than that the trip was amazing and all of the staff was curiosity and polite. I would say that it exceeded my expectations of what I felt the trip would be like.

Overall it was ok but not your best by a long shot. Someone should look into this trip. I would be happy to discuss this with someone.

All the staff were excellent, many anticipating needs !!!! Clean. Entertainer highlight. A great little group called Yael & Gabriel but playing with a clarinetist and bassist and trumpet too...then called Sunset [something?] They should go big time with style as a group!!!!

This was our 1st cruise ever & after this experience I would definetely go on another cruise. I would also highly recommend Norwegian Cruise lines

It was wonderful to do a 12-day cruise with only two sea days and every port was different and they all were good. The only disappointment was the very cool and damp weather that followed us everywhere. We love the Norwegian Gem especially for the great shows in the Stardust Theater every night. No charge and no reservation needed!

Very fortunate to cruise from Quebec City to New York City at the height of the fall foliage colors. All the shore excursions we selected enhanced this experience and gave us wonderful insight into the wonderful places we visited. All the staff and crew aboard the Norwegian Gem did an outstanding job to make our cruise a memorable experience.

Cruise director not involved, rarely seen. Atrium not serviced by waiters, average to poor entertainment. Music too loud at shows. Crew and service outstanding.

Ship was just okay, ports were good to excellent.

I would on;y do this cruise if you are looking for a bargain and new places to explore. Would not need to do it more then once. Overall we had a nice trip and enjoyed it for a great bargain.

We are very disappointed with help desk manager Jalynne Castro. We believe that a poor manager would set a poor example for all staff under her management. It is our third cruise with NCL. Previous two gave us good impression, but now we are not sure if we will take another NCL. It's sad. We hope Ms. Castro should learn to treat guests in a way she herself wants to be treated.

The experience aboard the boat and ports of call were outstanding. Nothing to complain about, only positive thoughts!

Very good cruise. The NCL Gem is a very comfortable ship. The ports, though not exotic, are very interesting insights into that part of the USA & Canada lifestyle and countryside.

My experience was adequate but not exceptional. The tours offered were not well done; the guides were not well informed and way to chatty about nothing of importance. Busses should have had cold water bottles available, The ship had the tours planned too close to the sail-away times so the tours were always behind schedule and had to "race" to get back to the ship on time.

I found Oriental girls saying "washy-washy" and spraying your hands with some unknown liquid, each time you boarded the ship or entered the buffet, to be very offensive. It was like out of a bad 1950's movie that stereotyped Chinese as less than equal. While the food in the main dining rooms was fine, try the specialty restaurants. Definitely a step up in quality and service for a little extra. However, avoid the biscuits everywhere! I believe they were baked by Wayne Gretzky.
