Review summary

Just OK, really a boring cruise which made it restful. I'm still amazed how the ship gets bounced around in rough seas. Really sad that employees can't speak or understand English. The purple key card means nothing on board.

I am a lecturer/teacher on how to use photoshop, and on the space program. I've asked them several times if they would like me to put together a lecture series on how to photo edit your vacation photos: take out unwanted background people, fixing red eye, etc, but they don't seem to care.

I agree that daytime entertainment left something to be desired. I would like to see informative seminars about the culture, history, natural wonders, etc. of the places we visit. Instead, everything is geared towards selling something.

I've been on the gem a half a dozen time. The purple key card doesn't mean thing to me either.

I had a great time on this ship. Even larger ships with more stabilizers can get bounced around in rough seas. Don't know what the purple card is. The majority of the cruise staff are from other countries. I imagine it's a bit difficult for them too.
