robandshelly: 1000s of people cruise weekly and you hear from the 5 people who didn't research ports or didn't understand their T&Cs or felt entitled to champagne and caviar but paid for beer and buffalo wings or chose to travel during historically bad weather seasons (hurricane winter, school break, etc) or are just plain miserable who would complain at a free money giveaway that the denominations were inconvenient....... do negative things happen? of course they do but so doesn't life....... you've cruised before so you probably have seen negative things but you continue to cruise because you get it. Enjoy your cruise and time on the Gem...... I will be on her in May
