This Norwegian cruise was very enjoyable as it usually is. The 11 days was possible a little too long.

Now for the bad, there was a large group of at least 1200 people on the ship. The name of the group was Groan and Sexy. They completely took over the ship and were so loud the rest of the passengers did anything they could to try and escape to a quiet space. They made the cruise unenjoyable. There were some many private events day and night, that we didn't get to visit our favorite locations on the ship many times. It is my understanding that his group has an open lifestyle and from the groans and noise I heard from the cabin next door I can assure you that, that is probably an accurate statement. I did end up having to call security on them at one point. Also, the only day that the weather was good on this trip and we could be around the pool, this group decided the rules didn't apply to them about the number of people that could be in the hot tub and one lady was even smoking a cigar. No one ever came over and told her to put she could smoke in the hot-tub. You could never get to the bar in the Atrium because they were always gathered around the bar screaming and wouldn't let anyone else in to get a drink. The wait staff couldn't keep up, so forget someone coming around to ask you if you needed anything. I understand that they are in the business to sell out the ship. However, when you have a group that large that it should be required for them to buy out the entire ship. NCL should really give the passengers that were not a part of this group some type of concession. There are no words to convey how awful, inconsiderate and rude this folks were.

I would not change a thing, the people we met passengers and crew made this the best cruise we ever had

This was our first vacation using NCL. We have traveled using other cruise lines and we were happy with Norwegian. We would consider traveling with you in the future.

I really enjoyed my cruise very much and the people onboard were great.

Overall great. upgrade comedy . Try not to have shows overlap . Improve disembarkation.

Alway good on the gem other than the food which is never very good on any ncl cruise we have been on and we have been on ncl for 132 nights making us platinum members

Will not sail with NCL again they have gone downhill

We have taken 5 cruises on NCL since 2011, and each once has gotten worse. NCL is going downhill fast. More money, less services or activities; Excursions purchased from the cruise line are crazy expensive; they keep pushing the duty free shopping on board, but they have reduced the merchandise and raised the prices. Not that I buy a lot, but the liquor area has been reduced to 3/4 of a wall, when at one time it use to take up practically the whole shop. The jewelry store is made up of mostly watches and very little gem/diamond jewelry and the store selling clothing and other souvenirs has nothing. We will think long and hard regarding our next cruise with NCL.

Love NCL and Loved the Gem. Can't wait for June to go back on this ship to New England and Canada.

The Gem lived up to its name. It was truly a Gem. We met the greatest people on this trip both taking the cruise and working on the ship. Of all the cruises we’ve been on this one was no1. Maybe it was because of the 11 wonderful days we had to meet and get to know folks, maybe it was the great atmosphere on the ship but it was fabulous. Can’t wait til June to go back on the Gem this time to New England and Canada.

Never to return to Norwegian - will go elsewhere (other Cruise-Lines) for future Vacations...

11 days was a long time on a boat. My husband who doesnt get sea sick did with 25 ft waves... so bring stuff just incase. We had a great time and are excited to go on our next cruise with our kids.

it was deffinlty an experience with it being our first cruise! We had an amazing time and will deffitanly be back sooner than later

The cruise to Eastern Canada was my first. I usually don't cruise during the Fall, but this year I decided to take a different route. It was a good choice.

Overall, a good time was had by all. Would absolutely go on NCL again... JACK aka Sailing Finn Rocks! *********************************************************************************************

Could not have been more perfect. Weather and seas just right. Also the ports of call were just what we had hoped for. Cabin steward was very nice and attentive. He did a great job. Food was excellent in both the restaurants and buffet. We only ate in the complimentary restaurants.
