Cruise was fun until the end. The onboard game shows etc were corny and the cruise director was more into herself and her image. The servers and crew were awesome but the cruise director and her team were corny and marginal. English was bad and couldn’t pronounce anything correctly and hard to understand and we are young retirees that have good hearing. If I hear I’m Johnny all the way from Brazil one more time…. At the end of 15 days it became a running joke.

Specialty dining was very good. Dining room was fine but food was sometimes not hot. Buffet had plenty of variety but not a buffet person.

Acts were very good except the hypnotist. Stupid, corny and boring. Danielle Grace Williams and the father son duo were fantastic. Would like the shows to be longer than 45 minutes. The musicians around the ship were very good as well.

It was perfectly fine and our housekeeper was very nice and did a great job.
Ship tip
If you have a hard time with understanding broken English you might want to look elsewhere .
Did not like Lisbon. Did the hop on hop off but again big city and not enough time. Port area going up the hill was dirty. I’m sure there is a lot of history but on a cruise just not enough time.
Probably the wrong time of the year for NYC. It was zoo with holiday tourists and the streets were filthy with garbage as well as construction everywhere
A joke. Communication was never made that since we ported early that you needed to give them 48 hours notice if you wanted to disembark early. The guest services were rude and were adamant that we were not allowed to disembark a day early because we didn’t let them know. I felt like I was a being held hostage in my own country. I had to leave my wife and luggage bento go talk to customs because they wouldn’t let our luggage off the ship and threatened security and police if we tried. It was total BS when they told me it was customs that determined this policy. Customs told me it was NCL. All they had to do was go on their computer and change our disembarkment date which linked with cups and they were unwilling. I had changed our flight home because NY was a zoo and I wasn’t feeling well and they didn’t care. After being relentless and a few cuss words as well as two hours of this crap we got off. Customs never scanned our passports and didn’t look in our luggage. Big deal for nothing based on their non communicated policy. We will never cruise with them again. I felt like I was being held prisoner in my own country. It ruined our vacation for sure which was fun up until then
