Review summary

NEVER AGAIN We have this ship booked for February and are trying to transfer to another ship. We are frequent Sapphire guests on NCL and have loved the Gem before, but it is time to get her a facelift and staff her appropriately. They can sell her but will continue to get bad reviews for the ship and the company. we heard them all over the ship. Very disappointing cruise!

Big leaks in hall of Haven left blowers to try to dry it, crew spent 3 days in out room trying to find leaks, fix sliding door wobble, get the heat to work, never fixed anything adequately, we froze for 3 days in coats and under the covers stuck in NYC!!!!!! Ship needs drydock!

Constant tap in walls of both bedrooms, had to unplug the hallway blowers to try to sleep, they NEVER FIXED! They tried to fix sliding door wobble but it wobbled a few days after the fix!

1960cruiser: The ship was full. My friend, who went on this cruise with us, had a problem with their room and asked to be moved but told that the ship was completely booked and they didn't have a room to move them to. Which is not surprising for a Christmas/New Year cruise I guess.

Did you ask to be moved to another cabin? If not, then that's on you. I just came of the Emerald Princess, and I had a great cruise, with only one issue with the Crown Grill staff who needed retraining on customer service. It sounded like you were in the Haven, maybe sold out, but still ask.

Many of the cruise lines have not completed cosmetic issues due to the cost. Cruising during Christmas will always be crowded.
