Review summary

This was my first cruise, beautiful islands but the cruise line lacked much. I would not go with Norwegian Cruise Line, I was quite disappointed with the onboard activities. I was actually bored most of the time.

Research, research, research....read ship reviews, port reviews. It's your vacation but you need to put some work into the planning so you have a good idea what to expect

Sorry to hear that your cruise was just ok. I totally understand. Our first cruise was on Royal Caribbean, and we loved it. Our second one was on Norwegian Gem, and it was just ok. We realized that it wasn't a fair comparison, as the Gem is an older and smaller ship. Soon, we will be sailing on RC again. After this one, I've decided to give NCL another chance with a larger ship.
