Review summary

Probably one of the worst. Right at the top of my list with carnival cruises. We did shore rxcursions through norwegian and they were rediculuously priced. Should have just found our own stuff to do. We also had a foreigner taking photos of young girls around the pool. Kids didn't feel safe anywhere.

Didn't do much just shopping and a cab ride around the island for 2 hours

been cruising on the gem for 5 years now and have yet to eat at the buffet, or as we call it, the food trough. Why anyone would take a cruise to eat at a cafeteria is beyond my understanding.

1) if a person is taking photos of young girls around the pool (or anywhere)..... what did YOU do about it? Did you talk to them AND report them or just come here to complain. Also, did you check their passport to determine their citizenship to confirm they were a "foreigner"... wow, just a racist shallow comment. 2) buffet hair?? you do know 2500 passengers have an opportunity to be around that food and not use proper tools etc to get food and have hair, dirt, dandruff, etc cause that issue. Be realistic that it isn't all NCL
