Overall, the ship was much better than Carnival. If you are with a family or large group, advance planning is essential. Getting lounge chairs in the pool area is sucked up fast and furious early in the morning. Great kids area on the pool deck area. Plenty of food places to get decent or great food. Plenty of bars and get the Premium plus drink package to get whatever you want and however much you want. Great staff, servers, and always helpful. Plan early as soon as you get on the boat. Also, if there is no reservations available, I was able to get in every event I wanted by getting there early on standby.

It was a nice cruise on a beautiful ship. NCL needed a lot more staff to care for the number of passengers on the ship and better bartender training. Fortunately, we purchased the drink package so we didn't have to pay for the bad drinks. It was just annoying to wait 15 minutes for a drink and get something that was undrinkable. If you want complimentary dining, book it the day you get on the ship... the same as if you are booking the specialty dining. Book your shows as soon as you get on the ship as well or you may not get in to see them.

Beautiful ship but very crowded at events due to number of passengers. Used to taking smaller ships, which I will go back to. NCL always has excellent entertainment!

This is our first cruise and we were pleased with our experience. It took a bit of exploring and time to figure out how things worked and we are so looking forward to another cruise in our future.

They went back to old style muster drill which is very crowded and hated by everyone. Crew staff was great cruise ship was great especially the solo area.

We enjoyed every moment of the trip. This was another great experience with Norwegian cruise line. They make you feel special. The spa on board was a great way to spend hours relaxing. The evening entertainment was so professional and fun. Already planning our next adventure on Norwegian.

We wanted to relax and get out of the cold, and not only were able to do that, but we were entertained every evening and enjoyed the beautiful islands

Overcall the cruise was OK. NCL and BJ’s couldn’t care less about clients flights and we not helpful with the flights they booked. We had a party of 6 and none of the spouses were sitting together on the plane. BJ’S blamed NCL and walked away. I wouldn’t use them again as they were useless. We had to call airline and rearrange seats on our own. In addition 2 of the couples got a nonstop return flight and we were put on a red eye with a layover in DC arriving after midnight in Boston.

We were happy with the ship and the itinerary, but it was a little crowded (high season?). I think the service suffered a little bit because of the crowds. Heard a lot of coughing around the ship (and one of us tested positive after we got off).

will not cruise again soon. Four times this year was too much.

Not satisfied at all with this particular cruise. It was a little disappointing for the price that was paid.

Overall, a very good cruise food was good. Drinks were awesome. Very crowded coming after post Covid. My only disappointment was the fact that they did not change ship time after we left the Virgin Islands to current time at great stirrup cay the day we were got there and the disembarkation customs and luggage retrieval area

The boat was a nice and clean boat. The staff was friendly. Keep up with your activities. I loved taking part in the games. Lots of great music. The only thing was that I got board every day of the same food. Even in the special dinning there wasn’t much of a choice. Either you cut down on food, or other Norwegian boats have different and more choices of food. But the food was very good.

Compared to another cruise line that supposedly caters to kids, NCL is a dismal failure. In succession: Horrible embarkation experience. Extremely small stateroom with unprotected mattress and ill fitting sheets. Small shower. Food was lukewarm and ordinary. Wait staff was excellent, as were the bartenders and liquor. Except for The Choir of Man (excellent), the entertainment was terrible. Excursions were paid shopping experiences. Pool was a disaster. Other than the wait staff, ship staff seemed to be sullen and unhappy. Ship itself was poorly designed...choppy, poor transitioning, terrible elevators, poor air circulation. (Cigarette smoke from the open casino area permeated onto the rest of that deck as well as the deck below.) Many other impediments to a pleasant experience that are too numerous to mention.

Out of a dozen or more cruises this is the worst experience we have ever had.

Not the Best but not the Worst. Crew was very nice even with several giving us misinformation at times..... maybe new to ship and not trained well. Ship was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Didn't go to 2 of the promised ports! Still don't know why on one of them. Disembarkation was a nightmare. On a brighter note: stopped for an adult beverage every day before dinner at "Tobacco Road" where we were served by Ruth. Probably the BEST employee on the ship. What a joy that woman is. A very nice, friendly, out going person. She always put us in a good mood and put a smile on our faces. This woman should be the poster person for cruising. The other couple with us felt the same way. Thank you Ruth.

This was our first NCL and we will definitely cruise with them again. Thank you for serving us and giving us a very memorable time with our family of 10. :)

Staff and food is excellent on Norwegian Escape. The ship was clean and the most relaxing vacation I think I have ever taken.

We missed two of the main ports of call. It put a big black cloud over the trip. It was for my daughter’s birthday and she missed all her planned activities.
