This was the most disappointing trip. Wheelchair assistance to get on and off the ship is terrible. People sick, Noroviruses going around ship. Not stopping at private island. This was my 8th cruise with NCL, first time as platinum. Food not great

Overall great cruise until small outbreak last five days limited activities and food options.

There were a large number of issues on this cruise unfortunately. And sadly we discovered that we were lied to even before boarding on two separate matters

Gastroenteritis outbreak on the cruise. Extreme sanitizing occurred in all public areas. Many passengers and crew became ill. The chemical used to sanitize the ship caused many other passengers to become ill with upper respiratory illnesses including myself. Although I appreciated their vigilance to sanitize, I feel masks should have been provided to passengers as some crew members wore when cleaning walls, elevators, cafe buffet areas.

In my opinion, cruising from New York in winter is not worth it. The first 2 days and last 3 days are cold and windy so it really feels like a 9 day cruise on what is a paid 14 day cruise. The sickness (stomach virus) that occured on the ship ruined the experience to some degree. Disembarkation was a complete disaster. We did not make a scheduled stop at Great Stirrup Cay.

I enjoyed this particular cruise as the guests were from all over the world as opposed to being from the USA. It was long enough to just relax.

We had a nice time, but I guess we prefer smaller ships with fewer guests. At times, areas were so crowded, you couldn’t walk through. As far as the staff, with a few exceptions, this was the least friendly ship we have ever cruised on.

This was my 9th cruise. Although the ship was smaller than the Breakaway and Getaway with less activities, the service really made then stand out. All of the crew was friendly and went out of their way whenever they saw you. The rooms and ship were always clean. The food was excellent, some dinners took longer than we would like but there was 9 of us so we understood.

Had a very good time on this New Year's cruise. Only thing lacking was an excursion that took better advantage of the two days we had in Port Canaveral, particularly at Disney World or Universal. Other than that, the staff, food, entertainment and activities were all fine.

Nice time convienent leaving out of NYC food just ok in main dining room, rooms tend to be small, staff great. Casino nice no. Smoking area. Bars and bar staff very nice. Gave a lot of perks. Overcrowded for Xmas week

Starting with the positive, the food was all great except we wish we knew the selection ahead of time for the supper club shows(I hate beef). Oh and the pizza needs work. The specialty restaurants were great especially our night at the Brazilian steakhouse. Fernandes took amazing care of us even when we ordered the wrong wine by mistake. Another great experience was the catamaran excursion we took at St. Lucia. Amazing crew, great food/punch! The Brat Pack should have been the main show for the cruise. After Midnight was NOT a musical/play. It was a music revue with no plot whatsoever. We saw many guests walking out of this ridiculous “show” and we joined them. I was a little disappointed to find no martini bar and no indoor club as is on the Breakaway. Isn’t the Escape supposed to be a “breakaway plus” ship? I would like to tell you now about our last evening which has me seriously considering never booking with NCL ever again. We made a reservation in the Manhattan Room expecting a nice romantic end of cruise dinner. We dressed in our best and walked into the restaurant to find a line out the door. I told a staff member I had a reservation and she said we still had to wait. We waited for twenty minutes and were then seated right next to a very busy server station. Keep in mind we had a reservation.. We sat there as waiter after waiter came and went and bumped into my husband several times trying to access their station. Not a single one even acknowledged us or even gave us water. I finally flagged a supervisor down and asked why we were seated next to a server station when we made a reservation. This man physically pointed out several other stations and asked me if I saw all of the other stations around me. I was appalled that a manager would decide to argue with a guest who was noticeably upset. I accused him of arguing with me and he laughed at me! I have never in my life been berated by a restaurant staff member. Halfway through our meal he came over and offered to move our table. I did not want to move since I had one more course coming and was almost done. I wished I asked this man what his name was but after he kept trying to get me to move I threw my napkin on the table and left. I was not going to sit there and be treated like a child in what was supposed to be the nicest of the 3 main dining rooms. Maybe it was because we were a young couple, maybe it was because we were two men having dinner, all I know is that in all my 13 years working in the hospitality industry I would NEVER treat a guest the way that man treated me and my husband. I hope this experience was a fluke and specific to this ship.. I like Norwegian as a company, I was just extremely disappointed with their customer service on this trip.

This was my second trip as a solo traveler. Norwegian had nightly meet and greets in the solo lounge for singles and solo travelers. The lounge was exceptionally nice, but usually limited to those staying in the solo studios (small interior rooms for one guest). Sign-ups were available to meet others for dinners and shows. I could see why NCL is rated one of the best for solo travelers. I especially liked that I could go to the various bars to listen to Chelsea Reynolds and not feel any guilt or pressure to purchase drinks. This was my first trip on NCL and won't be my last.

Anniversary cruise from NYC. Fantastic ship fun time. We love NCL. Escape was a fabulous ship.

The cruise was wonderful, with beautiful ports of call and lovely excursions. The ship was a different story. We have sailed on several Norwegian ships, and the Escape is the worst. We were glad to escape the Escape.

Although we had a great time on this cruise, don’t think I want to go on this ship in the future.

Great cruise - absolutely wonderful ship and staff.

Lovely Ship, kept very clean, awesome staff! Food was wonderful, entertainment was excellent! Especially loved The Golden Octaves, and The Choir of Men.

Cruised five times this year. This 14 day was the best. Weather was great, ports were great too. Ship wasn't filled. Less kids.. Staff was EXCELLENT.

We enjoyed very much but the next cruise if any will be on a smaller ship.

Norwegian escape great boat and a great crew.... thanks for a great vacation for my family and friends back on in 9 months to Burmuda washy washy.....😁
