Review summary

This was my 9th cruise. Although the ship was smaller than the Breakaway and Getaway with less activities, the service really made then stand out. All of the crew was friendly and went out of their way whenever they saw you. The rooms and ship were always clean. The food was excellent, some dinners took longer than we would like but there was 9 of us so we understood.

4 out of 5
Ship had a few activities on board - would’ve liked a few more.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Comedy shows were great but the other shows were very limited and several you had to pay for.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
One of the best in terms of service and staff that was super friendly and always went out of their way.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
first time we had suite. The room was comparable to a balcony but had bigger bathroom and more space in room.

Ship tip

Grab chairs 2 decks up from the pool. Less crowded.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Actually, both the Breakaway and sister ship the Getaway are the same, at 146,600 gross tons. The Escape is 165,300 gross tons, making her bigger than the Breakaway and Getaway. I've been on all 3 ships. And with their similar overall designs, it's not easy to distinguish them apart. In the end, they're all beautiful ships!
