This was the most disappointing trip. Wheelchair assistance to get on and off the ship is terrible. People sick, Noroviruses going around ship. Not stopping at private island. This was my 8th cruise with NCL, first time as platinum. Food not great

Had platinum dinner at Cagneys, steak was charred, I have a seafood allergy, so I preordered my meal the day before, only to have them loose the order. I ended up with a severe reaction.. Long waits to eat in main dining rooms. Was asked if we want to share table with other people, No.... people are sick on the ship!!

Anthjan28... let me fill you in on this January 6-20 cruise
First off we had priority boarding on and off due to our special needs child well yea thats not how they accommodated us. We were supposed to be tje first group on we were 9th so there were roughly 1000 already on which was NOT what we were supposed to deal with
Next our room steward never even cleaned our aft balcony from day one there was a zip tie and broken glass and the glass was never cleaned i was able to write my name and date it 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9 that is when I finally called about it... i do have the pictures (I am a manager at a motel)
Next silverware disappeared off the tables the morning of the 3rd day when we docked in Port Canaveral--- hmmm something is not right --- hubby is Food Director/Executive Chef at an Assisted Living Facility --
By the time everyone was back and we left port the condiments were now gone from the tables as well
Next day their private island water is smooth as glass no issues boats in the water all over. Ships anchors are making weird noises keep dropping but coming right back up
People are boarding tenders ... ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to choppy water and high wind--- BULLSHIT--- I live at the beach there was no high winds or choppy waters... we are not stopping today and they BOLT to get far enough out to not.be forced to turn around
Next day sea day lots of DND.rooms and room service trays with red stickers... housekeeping now wearing masks on several decks
Some in hazmat suits
We were informed of the outbreak 7 days out when they wouldn't be forced to turn around and refund
CDC is notifed when 15% is effected full count and full crew = 600+ at that point
That was the norovirus, there was also an outbreak of chickenpox and pink eye
They were not breaking the chemical compound down which caused a number of us to become ill
I have MS so i have a compromised immune system already I ended up with an upper respiratory infection and lung infection
Yes it was the cruise from HELL and yes we have every right to complain
Also we didnt hear from the captain after his morning announcement on day 10 of a 14 day trip it was all the cruise Director after that
So dont tell us we like to complain $8500 i have every right to bitch
My husband and I both had mobility scooters on the Escape last year and had no issues...in fact we were treated respectfully when going to meals, shows, etc. BTW...patience is the name of the game
