I would give 0 stars if available, not because the cruise was bad but because of the way the treat you when there is a short coming at the trip. We booked a 10 Day Mediterranean Cruise for May 2022. We got Delayed in Birmingham Alabama because of a flat tire on the Airplane, and we missed our connection flight from Charlotte to Rom. Part of it was because the layover was to short and didn’t allow for any error. By the way NCL booked the flight. We got rerouted to fly the next day to Athens to catch up with the ship there 3 days later. We had to pay out of pocket for Taxi, Hotel Room and Meals for basically 2nights/3 days. We got on the ship 3 days later, meaning we only received 7 days of our 10-day cruise. We purchased a travel insurance from AON, and we got the maximum allowable refund for the Delay, which covered our out-of-pocket expenses, and only $200 were applied to the loss of the cost from the trip. I contacted Guest Experience Coordinator, which you can only online over a claim form, and you get an email back. I received an email telling me to get with AON, which I had explained that I already did. I responded back and explained that I did that, and I received a refund, but it does not cover most of the lost 3 days. Now I paid for upgraded Beverage package, upgraded WIFI, Guest services, Transfer from Rome airport to the port and of course the regular cost for the booked; and not received 3 days for a total of close to $3500.00. Applying the $ 200 still leaves me short of $3300. I tried several other avenues to speak to someone about this with no prevail. NCL didn’t even offer a Credit for the next cruise. If you ask me, don’t use NCL

Won a haven upgrade for the minimum and it is a wonderful experience that I would recommend everyone to try at least once if within your budget.

Pleasant surprise at Port Canaveral’s embarkation and debarkation; very well organized. This was our 2nd time cruising the Escape, which was recently updated. The ports were okay but ship worth experiencing in itself.

The ship wasn't crowded at all, it was easy dining, going to a show or anything you wanted to do was available. Great staff everyone was pleasant.

This was our first cruise since COVID lockout. We enjoyed it very much and never felt uncomfortable from a health and safety standpoint. Appreciated that covid testing was done at the terminal and felt comfortable on ship without a mask. Masking only in appropriate situations.

The crew kept the ship immaculately clean and I felt very safe onboard. There are still many restrictions and requirements so guests should really do their research and homework prior to embarkation. Go with a positive attitude - the crew work too hard to listen to your petty complaints that are beyond their control. It's all part of the adventure, so just go with it. As a Canadian who required a PCR test to get home, Norwegian offering this (for free) onboard was a huge convenience. The overall experience was phenomenal.

Part of the "poor" review was because we were originally scheduled on the Encore from Miami and they cancelled 4 days ahead of time. This was the best we could do at short notice but is no where near what we had set up on the Encore. Poorly handled by NCL

Everything we hoped for and then some. Loved the adults only section.

Ship was not what I expected! Cramped and boring!

The cruise was very nice.It is a bit of a bigger ship so you don’t feel the rocking of the waves as much.From my experience the staff was very friendly and nice and I had a great time on this cruise.However I would probably not go on it again because I felt very rushed on this cruise.This is because you have to book times to see your shows.But still loved this cruise

It was a great cruise but I hope the shows and entertainment are better on the Joy in October 2020 for a Panama Canal Cruise

Only way to travel on this mega ship was to go Haven. Other wise the food was not good in the main dining (free food). Or get specialty restaurants for at least 4 nights. Cagney's blew us away then the Haven restaurant. Crowds were huge getting on and off. Haven gets priority everything.

Today day 6 is going great. Major score at Casino while having morning coffee. Le Bistro was its usual spectacular self. Second major Casino Score this evening. This cruise was a fav 5 for sure. I enjoyed the size as smaller NCL ships are limited in options Though large many intimate locations. Popcorn given out during movies. Royal Caribbean, charged for popcorn. Moscow Mules are top notch.topped w Ginger Candy. Cruise Director very very good. Have done New England Cruise 8 times and will book it again for sure. Next yr I believe it will be the Bliss.

Overall I was pretty disappointed with Norwegian. Our previous cruises with them were much better. They seemed unorganized and lacked the extra touch for making a great trip. I’ll probably pick a different cruise line next time.

Loved the places we visited but disappointed with NCL and will never cruise with them again!

Overall extremely impressed, internet manager is an a-hole, and needs to be fired. He’s condescending and extremely rude.

This Cruise vacation I enjoy it because we relax alot, we enjoy our balcony this time more than the first time. And we love Bermuda it's such a beautiful island alot to see.

Real good experience. Can't wait for next cruise. It's a big ship and beautiful, good food can't complain, hard working people

I had read several bad reviews before boarding and came to The conclusion that most people are never happy. I had a great relaxing week and would go back and recommend NCL in a heartbeat, each and every-time we cruise w NCL it gets better and better - Awesome!!!
