Review summary

The crew kept the ship immaculately clean and I felt very safe onboard. There are still many restrictions and requirements so guests should really do their research and homework prior to embarkation. Go with a positive attitude - the crew work too hard to listen to your petty complaints that are beyond their control. It's all part of the adventure, so just go with it. As a Canadian who required a PCR test to get home, Norwegian offering this (for free) onboard was a huge convenience. The overall experience was phenomenal.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Of 8 cruises, even with the testing and new restrictions, this was the fastest Embarkation process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Garden Cafe buffet food was fantastic

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Sailed at 36% capacity so there were no lines and there was always something to do

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Saw Choir of Man, magician Neil Croswell, comedians Dylan Mandlsohn and Fred Bevil - all were fantastic

Children's Programs

No kids under 12 were on the ship

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Went above and beyond their already amazing service to take extra care of all the guests

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Great design and layout

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Quiet location, on my preferred starboard side. Brief walk from the elevators/stairs

Ship tip

There are still many uncertainties and potential changes possible - have a "just go with it" attitude and stay positive. The crew work too hard for you to complain.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Favourite departure port - very fast, convenient and well laid out

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Seahawk Zipline is an absolute must - fantastic views of the island and ship. Also recommend the Stand Up Paddleboards

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Skyride and Sunset Catamaran Sail excursions were amazing. Also recommend the Pirate Treasure Museum (next to the Skyride) for some really interesting shipwreck items and pirate history

Tortola, British Virgin Islands Did not visit port

Due to a fuel issue, there was a last minute change announced (the afternoon prior) that we would be going to San Juan Puerto Rico instead. Very impressed that they were able to offer shore excursions in such a short time frame. Did the Zipline Canopy tour and definitely recommend it

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Balmoral Island Beach Break excursion was very secluded and low-key - with plenty of (included) beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, kayaks, and paddleboards.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest and easiest disembarkation process to date
