If I could give it no stars at all I would. The food selections at the buffet is pretty much the same food over and over again. Food is bland and boring. The salad bar selections are very limited. The dining room food is ok, nothing spectacular. But here’s the biggest issue, I was sick with explosive diarrhea for three days straight. Couldn’t even get off at the last port I was so sick! Husband, mom, mother in law, my friends husband and nephew all ended up with diarrhea.

Steward service was awesome. Room was always cleaned multiple times daily. The waiters and bar tenders are not very friendly. They always looked tired and annoyed. Definitely not friendly like other cruise lines.

If you like dark and dreary this boat is for you! Nothing bright and cheery about this boat. It was kind of depressing for me. Spaces are cramped especially where the buffet is. You’re literally trying not to bump into patrons and waiters when trying to sit back down with your food. Theater is super small and the seats are so close together that putting a drink into the cup holder is nearly impossible if you want to be comfortable. Bathrooms smelled like pee and there was always tissue on the floors in the stalls. Rarely seen anyone cleaning them.

Loved my room. Spacious bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed too.
Ship tip
Book your shows early because space in the theater is limited. If you’re going to a scheduled activity like a lip sync battle, get there early because you won’t have a seat.
Beautiful island. The port where we got off at is still under construction. Construction workers and tractors was kinda of an eyesore, especially since it’s the first thing you see.
You’re the ONLY person I’ve ever read that described this ship as “dark and dreary.” Makes no sense at all. Perhaps your explosive diarrhea clouded your perception.
Most everyone has the beverage package so pee accidents may happen. I believe norwegian staff clean as they should but sometimes drunkiness may affect people's aim.
