Review summary

Overall extremely impressed, internet manager is an a-hole, and needs to be fired. He’s condescending and extremely rude.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Even with the ship being delayed almost a day returning from its last voyage, NCL kept all 4000+ passengers happy and comfortable for our almost 12 hour wait at the manhattan cruise terminal. They gave us a snack and drink, and basically made the best effort at a difficult situation, and I think they did a tremendous job.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food on this ship was superb. Of course the specialty restaurants were better then the dining rooms and the dining rooms better than the garden cafe buffet... but ALL of it was very good, diverse, and I definitely think it was better quality and execution then my last Royal Caribbean cruise. Kudos to all involved there. Good job!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was as usual on the smaller size, but laid out well... only issue I had was a very small closet/wardrobe and almost no room for suitcases, so they just sat on the couch the whole trip. Also, no outlets by the bed, so we had to ask for an extension cord for the cpap machine, and then risked tripping over the cord every time we had to cross the room.

Ship tip

Do NOT purchase the WiFi package! It’s a waste of money. The package is so slow, that I could not even use it to read email. When I complained, the internet manager was so extremely rude and condescending that I was just shocked. There was an endless line of people at the counter waiting to complain as well, it was not just us. He refused to do anything for us, or take the charge away even, so I ended up getting a more expensive cruise package from AT&T which worked great! Do not ever waste your money on their package!
