this was a spectacular, beautiful cruise that exceeded expectations. This cruise was wonderful enough that we will convert to NCL over Royal Caribbean, (with whom we have cruised 6 times)!! Will recommend to others.

For 12 of the 14 people on our cruise it was great. Sadly for the others air delays caused them to miss 3 days and British Air, and NCL were not very helpful making things right for them. One of them was elderly and in a wheelchair and no one of the above companies was willing to accept blame for their troubles and make things right by offering their full concern and help regarding their plight. It is easy to be good when everything goes right. The mark of an exceptional company is how well they react when things go wrong for their guests. In the case of two people in our group the aforementioned three companies failed miserably.

Cruise itself was fantastic. Working with and the air department NCL Was a nightmare! We called the emergency travel and the insurance and got no help! I was with a handicapped person and they left us stranded!! I ended up diverting from their plan, making our own arrangements. Hope we get reimbursed. This is a terrible idea to book your air through and new NCL!!

Great cruise, with phenominal destinations. Food was very good, especially the two specialty restaurants we went to, Cagneys and Le Bistro. Staff was on top of everything, service was incredible. Entertainment was very good in particular, shows at Pour House, District Ale house and the main show, Choir of Man

We had a fun time with all the cruise had to offer including dining, shows and dancing. Glad we signed up for excursions that helped us make the best of each port.

My wife and I went on the most amazing cruise as a belated honeymoon. The ESCAPE is top-notch.

we had a good time on the cruise. we got to see a lot of interseting sites and learned a great deal of history. we were disappointed that the weather was not good enough to get us into Mykonos. the tour we had in Santorini was very poor and very rushed. there was nothing special about our upgraded cabin and service was minimal. the upcharges on drinks was in very poor taste and mis-managed. i think i was told i had to pay an additional $1.40 for a shot of Crown Royal on several occasions. do you really need the $1.40 for Crown? and i do believe that Crown was on the list in the drink pkg i purchased. a couple of visits to customer service were met with long lines and surly customer service reps. i had to wait for almost an hour to cash in $70 worth of casino chips. i didn't hear the announcement that the casino wasn't going to be open the last night of the cruise and maybe i get that but why wouldn't open up the cashier just for that, i know i wasn't the only one that missed that announcement??? the cruise was mostly nice but those few things that were unexpectedly annoying will most likely push me back to Royal Caribbean. so scrolled down to finish the survey and you have my overall rating as a 4.1 out of 5??? i would give it a 3 at BEST

For our first cruise ever it was absolutely AMAZING and met all our expectations and more

All in all, this was a wonderful trip ... mainly because the ports of call were all interesting and fun AND the staff of the ship were so accommodating and nice.

Had a wonderful time. Entertainment was a bit disappointing, but other than that, really nice cruise

We had the best trip! Every port was on time, we loved the places we visited, and loved coming back to the ship at the end of the day. Staff, ship, restaurants, and entertainment were top notch! A perfect vacation!

Great cruise overall ,,amazing staff and service .

Never ever book flights through NCL! They booked the last flight out so when it was delayed we missed the ship. Then on the way back they cancelled OUR reservation. We had no flight home and had to be out on standby for the flight we were supposed to be on!

Overall an excellent cruise. We really enjoyed it and met some nice people from all over the world. Food was good, drinks flowed often and we slept well.

Overall it was great Montenegro was terrible rest was solid.

Booked the trip b/c of the itinerary & it was changed multiple times with nothing given in return...just days at sea. If I knew I would be going to 2 of the 4 stops in Greece then I would have selected another cruise. NCL has definitely cut food costs as the beef was inedible across the boat - from buffets to specialty dining. Food freshness also was an issue as we were served moldy cake for a celebration dinner!

We were very disappointed that Corfu and the Corinth excursion was cancelled. We might not have taken the cruise if we would have know ahead of time. The food and service was good. They had umbrellas in the sunny areas, so people would put up an umbrella and block the sun. We suggest no umbrellas in the Sunny Areas around the pool. There were plenty of shady areas for people to sit and relax close to the pool. GET RID OF UMBRELLAS. Getting on and off the ship was excellent.

Everything about the cruise was amazing except the unexpected cancellation of Corfu and the lack of communication regarding the cancellation. It will definitely make me think twice about booking with Norwegian again because we booked this trip based on 4 stops in Greece and we only got 3 stops. So disappointing since everything else was so great.

Overall, the Escape is a great ship and the staff is amazing. I couldn't speak highly enough of the staff or how well they are organized. They made the difference with my cruise. I hope they are well paid and not receiving good pay just because the gratuity charges make up their wages. They deserve every dime. On the other hand, June was exceptionally hot, I noticed that some of the cruise participants were not prepared for just how hot it was nor the physicality several of these ports required, such as Santorini. In one instance, in Pisa, there was a 15 minute walk from where the bus parked and to the sights of interest such at the Leaning Tower. Two of the tour participants cut their time short and took a taxi back to the ship. Certainly, this is no fault of the Cruise Line nor the Tour operator, I only mention it so that whomever is planning their trip to be mindful of the time of the year and your personal physical capabilities.

In spite of a rough start, we enjoyed the trip. Would recommend this ship and itinerary.
