Review summary

For 12 of the 14 people on our cruise it was great. Sadly for the others air delays caused them to miss 3 days and British Air, and NCL were not very helpful making things right for them. One of them was elderly and in a wheelchair and no one of the above companies was willing to accept blame for their troubles and make things right by offering their full concern and help regarding their plight. It is easy to be good when everything goes right. The mark of an exceptional company is how well they react when things go wrong for their guests. In the case of two people in our group the aforementioned three companies failed miserably.

This cruise did not allow much time to enjoy on ship activities. The theater show was very good. I wish the cruise had one or two “at Sea” days to relax and enjoy the on ship activities.

Port was very good. The pompeii on your own excursion was not great. I would not recommend doing without a guide and you need much more than two hours to do a proper visit.

Glad most of you got to enjoy the full cruise, we loved it! Was the 3 missed days in this case because day 2 was a sea day and day 3 was a tender port (Santorini) meaning if they missed the ship on day 1 they couldn’t embark until Athens on day 4? That’s really unfortunate. We booked our flights via NCL for the first time and were lucky enough to have no issues but we did decide that in future we will book the flights to arrive a day early just for peace of mind.

I believe it is time for everybody that is having problems with NCL air program to start putting info of their problems on as many as possible cruise websites to get the attention of NCL, that their air program has major problems that needs their immediate attention ...
