Review summary

Never ever book flights through NCL! They booked the last flight out so when it was delayed we missed the ship. Then on the way back they cancelled OUR reservation. We had no flight home and had to be out on standby for the flight we were supposed to be on!

Never ever buy airline tickets through NCL package. They put my mom on I on separate flights even with the same reservation. Then we got thay fixed they put us on an extremely late flight, and with flight delays we had no buffer and missed the ship! We couldn’t get on until three days later in Athens (couldn’t get on at Santorini because it’s a tender port). They told us to get there at 7 am when the shipped docked, which we did. Then when we got there they said oh it’s going to be at least two hours until you can get on.

I’ve sailed on 9 Ncl so far of 34 total cruises, I’ve never had any issues on the ships, the staff are attentive professional and engaging, my issues have always been with booking I don’t use travel agent and book with representatives that changed 2 sailings ago , my experience’s have included misinformation, misinterpretation and unprofessional sarcasm, I book with Cruise.com they always add perks on credits upgrades and cash back, I’m glad you sorted through their nickel and dime mentality.

We were on this cruise and many people had missed the ship due to problems with flights. If you hadnt have booked through NCL it would probably have been worse. At least NCL arranged for you to get on the cruise at another port. It’s a shame that the first day was a sea day because instead of a 10 day cruise you only got a 7 day cruise.
