We LOVED everything about the Escape! If you are bored, cruising just might not be for you. The HAVEN is a must to experience but, be warned, you won’t want to cruise any other way!

The ship was way to large and crowded for my taste. To much walking. I thought the food overall was just OK, nothing spectacular, The ports of call did not excite me, On a positive note. there is lots to do on the ship, Great water park, ropes course for the youngsters. Lots of bars if you're a drinker. If you are younger and in good shape I think this could be your ship, Not so much for this old man. I also must tell you that five out of the six in my party ended up at the doctors as soon as we got home. one sinusitis, 2 bronchitis, myself lung and upper respritory infection and one severe edeema. so four of us are on antibiotics and one an a water pill and a strict diet, Could be coincidence bur probably not,

Absolutely loved our second time on the Escape! This week cruise director was Dan Dan and he was amazing. Wait until you hear him sing on the last night!

We will be more careful when selecting a ship in the future. The Escape was not a pleasant experience overall.

The ship was great as long as you were as far from the Casino as you could be. The cigarette smoke was horrible, even above the casino on higher decks. In Vegas the smoke is sucked up and blown out. We are going again in February to ESCAPE carnival where we live on the beach in Crucita EC. I’d rather suffer from the smoke than the noise.

We enjoyed ourselves but would like to see Norwegian make some improvements.

Just way too many people. By day three, I just wanted to go home to get away from the crowds. By day four, it really seems like a lot of other passengers were becoming very rude. It was so crowded, we were never able to see nor touch the water in the pools. On the last day, we tried to get some outdoor chairs on the deck above the pool, and every time we stood up to use the restroom or anything, someone else would sit in our chairs - even with out belongings still on the chairs. The only way to go to the pool is to get there right at 7am and then stay there until you are done. We just did not want to get up that early to try to get a chair on that deck.

We definitely would do the NCL Escape ship again!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the first huge ship we have been on. Food, staff, and the ambience on the ship were wonderful.

This ship was amazing. I have to say the food is the best I’ve had on a cruise so far. We’ve been on Royal Caribbean Cruises and enjoyed the food but the Escape was a notch up. We did eat at Cagney’s at least three nights. The spa was amazing as well. It’s worth the extra even if you just want to do one or two days. The couple’s massage was nice but I would prefer the Swedish or deep tissue over the hot rock next time. Our balcony room was very nice but the balcony is a little smaller than the RC ship balcony rooms. It’s definitely worth a try. We are trying our first Princess cruise in April and can’t wait to see how it goes. Happy Sailing!

I would have gave them 5 stars but with the change in ports (not ships fault and I do not blame anyone medical issues come first) but I felt that at our last port it was not handled well. We were ported at a very small not working old mill and it was not able to hold the ship or that many people. I also did not like the tendering process as well. I understand you can not control the seas but I did fall and I did hurt myself getting on to the tender and I was bleeding they did give me a bandage and ask if I wanted to see the doctor and I said no. They should have gotten my name and room to follow up with me but they did not do that and there was no accident report taken. I had to go to the front desk on my own to report it and even after that nothing was said or done to make sure I was okay. I ended up with a bruised, swollen and cut up knee. Other than those two issues everyone on the ship were friendly and we did have a great time.

Don’t get app and don’t book excursions ahead since itinerary can change!

This was our first....probably last. Not at ALL impressed!

If you like to party, enjoy fun activities, and enjoy a big ship this is a good experience. I got an amazing massage in the spa, but it sucks that you have to literally make a reservation for everything although it makes sense. Definitely enjoy the hot tubs up on the 18th deck that go off the side of the boat. Amazing experience. Thank you NCL Escape!

Absolutely the best vacation ever! The ship is amazing! The service was great! We did have a medical emergency early in the trip, so we turned around. This changed our itinerary, again. The only downside was stopping in Ocho Rios, I am not a fan, but we stayed on the ship and enjoyed the ship!

We had a great time . The ship is big and noisy. But exciting!

Great ship great friendly helpful staff. Beverage package is fantastic as is the dining. We ate at teppenyakki, moderno, food republic, bayamo, pincho, and the buffet. All were very good. Food republic was our favorite. Ropes course is awesome, as are the waterslides.

Cruise was great. Rough weather so we couldnt tender into Grand Caymans..got an extra sea day. In Nassau we did a segway tour. Lots of fun. The ship itself was good, but too large. If you go on this ship, be sure to book your entertainment as soon as you get on board. Difficult to walk through deck 6 since the casino was right above and was open. so cigarette smoke drifted down

Love NCL, the quality of service, entertainment, food and beverage are always fantastic. A few issues with the ship design that I think are major. Loved the ports of call even after the change forced by hurricane damage. Very hard to beat the package offered by NCL and will always look to cruise with them as my first choice.

Great cruise. Our itinerary was changed due to weather. The captain did a great job informing everyone about the conditions. We enjoyed a safe day in Cozumel instead of gale force winds in Nassau. Overall awesome cruise once again on NCL.

This was my first cruise with NCL and I was not disappointed in the least. I was a little hesitant about traveling alone, though I have done it previously. I had a great time and I would definitely have no trepidation about being a solo traveler in the future with NCL. This ship had so many activities to do, you will never get bored. If you just want to chill, you can do that as well. You can be as busy or not as you desire. There were a ton of bars on the ship, so if you have the Ultimate Beverage Package (UBP), you will not be waiting a long time for your drinks. Most drinks are below the threshold, so you can get just about any drink you desire with the package. If you want premium alcohol, that will be surcharge. Also, cappuccino and espresso are not included in the UBP, but Irish coffee and Bailey's and coffee are. :-) All in all, my first experience with NCL was a very positive experience and I highly recommend them. I am looking forward to booking my next NCL cruise.
