Review summary

I would have gave them 5 stars but with the change in ports (not ships fault and I do not blame anyone medical issues come first) but I felt that at our last port it was not handled well. We were ported at a very small not working old mill and it was not able to hold the ship or that many people. I also did not like the tendering process as well. I understand you can not control the seas but I did fall and I did hurt myself getting on to the tender and I was bleeding they did give me a bandage and ask if I wanted to see the doctor and I said no. They should have gotten my name and room to follow up with me but they did not do that and there was no accident report taken. I had to go to the front desk on my own to report it and even after that nothing was said or done to make sure I was okay. I ended up with a bruised, swollen and cut up knee. Other than those two issues everyone on the ship were friendly and we did have a great time.

Embarkation

We had left our edocs at home and all we had to do was show our passports and all was good. We only waited 30 minutes to board the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was great only thing I did not like was the desserts at the buffet. We tried 4 specialty restaurants. Loved Cagneys and Teppanyaki but did not care for Modernos or La Cucinas

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Best steak around and the raspberry dessert was great

Entertainment

Really smoky and I found they did not pay out

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Kids had a blast in the Arcade but watch out you can spend alot in there.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Only thing we did not like was that they would not let my youngest wear his water shoes down the aqua racer.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was really clean except on the last port day there were alot of empty glasses and bottles were left all over the pool deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
we had a mid ship mini suite. There were 4 of us in the room and we did not feel cramped at anytime. Storage space was plenty you just need to put stuff away and you will be good.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Falmouth, Jamaica Did not visit port

there was a change in the ports as there was a medical emergency 3 hours into the start of the trip and we had to return to miami so this port was changed

George Town, Grand Cayman

Had an issue tendering into this port. The waves were ruff and when I went to get onto the tender the boat dropped out from under my feet and I fell and cut my leg and had a huge bruise on it. We did do a tour but found it to short at the stops. We found that there were way to many people at this port as there were 5 ships there

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Loved LovedLoved this port. We did the Lost kingdom of maya waterpark and the kids had the best day there. We even found the little shopping area before you return back to the ship very nice the locals were not pushy and we found some great items.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

We did not do this port due to changes but did Cozumel instead

Disembarkation

We had no issues we did the latest time off the ship which was 9:45 am. We were quick to leave and get our bags and it only took maybe 20 minutes (or shorter) to go through.
