Review summary

Although the ports of call and some areas of the ship were great, I must say that it was a little disappointing. The Passengers were also very different from all the other cruises we have been on, we have never experienced this level of manners - meaning they didn't have any most times, they couldn't follow instructions, were rude, etc... I could go on and on but I'll stop now LMAO

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Train from Venice to Trieste, was great. Arrival at Trieste Train Station, no Taxi's, no Buses, no NCL Rep or transfer Vans. We had to walk to the ship like a herd of cattle, with an 86 yr old handicapped person and my husband who is also handicapped! We reached the port finally, the line was miles long and we had requested wheelchairs prior to our sailing. Guess what, there wasn't any. We asked a few people and they kept telling us to get in line. My husband found a few Officers of the ship observing and went over to ask them. They led us to a spot to wait for the wheelchair. After 15 minutes of waiting they showed up and escorted us to check in. They need to work on the embarkation from this port it is a mess, and that is being nice.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Garden Cafe - usually only for lunchtime snacks, was ok, a buffet is a buffet. Cagney's - Excellent as always Cucina - Use to be our favorite, but after this trip - never again Moderno - Good District Brew House - So out of 24 Draft Beers all they had were 4! Why bother! MDR - Manhattan actually very good

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Hot Tubs - Super Hot, over temperature. You felt like a lobster being set into a pot of boiling water.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was extremely polite and hard working. Always very pleasant. But 99.9% of the guests treated them like their personal slaves.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
They need to clean a bit more around the ship. Maintenance on this ship was lacking and needs to be reviewed ASAP

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great size with 2 chairs, a small table and a lounge chair. Only problem we had was that they had very short curtains on the balcony doors and early morning sunshine was annoying when you were trying to sleep. But, as soon as we mentioned it they took care of it.
