Wonderful trip. The ports of Ponta Delgado, Cadiz, and Malaga were unknown places prior to this trip, but all three had wonderful historical and ecological sites. sites
Wonderful……we were nervous about a longer cruise, but it was fine and we had no problem filling our relaxing days at sea. One very windy day with big waves on the fourth day at sea, but the ship was very stable and comfortable.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Excellent…30 minutes from entering the terminal until arriving in our room.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Specialty dining was excellent, especially the Japanese and Brazilian venues. Main dining and small cafes had variety and good service, too.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Some activities/programs were difficult to attend because they were held in venues that were too small. Reservations would have made some of these offerings more accessible rather than having to arrive an hour ahead in order to participate.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Good variety, but some of the entertainment was held in small venues that made it difficult to attend unless we stood in line for 1 or 2 hours ahead. Reservations should have been an option for these venues. Theater productions were outstanding and seating was always available.
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Courteous, friendly, and always available to answer questions.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very nice, but we wish that more open seating areas were available at the front areas if the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Wonderful! Bathroom was large and we even had a tub. Excellent storage for all our belongings especially since it was a 16 day cruise with varied weather conditions necessitating a variety of clothing.
Ship tip
It’s very big so be prepared for the crowds Abdul lots of walking!
We took a tour of the south shore, but really didn’t see much of interest other than the sea salt flats. We were left on our own in two small towns to shop or eat. Disappointing choice if a tour.
Wonderful tour with lots of walking, Scenic Barcelona., but traveled from different areas by bus. We enjoyed seeing Olympic sites and the church of the Sagada Familia and Gaudi’s influence in the city.
Our excursion was cancelled since we arrived late to the port, but we loved walking around the city and enjoyed the views from the castle and church. Very pretty with quant shops, streets, and homes.
Took a tour to Carrera to a quarry, museum, Roman ruins, and gourmet lunch. Tour guide was not very informative with directions. Nice small group excursion.
Very crowded because it was Liberation Day, April 25. We took two tours, but not booked through NCL or Cruises.Com. Vatican tour was very crowded so I would recommend paying extra for early morning private tour. Tuktuk tour (golf cart) was excellent way to see highlights of the city since we were only there for a day and a half prior to flying home. Both these tours were with The Roman Guy company. Taxi service in the city is excellent
