Reserve shows and dining as soon as possible. Burn the Floor is great, as is Cirque.....Priscilla is trashy....so if you don't like depravity, don't waste the time. Lounges are comfortable and fun, and there is lots of dancing opportunity.

Go online and carefully, very carefully view the cabin, understand exactly what you will be dealing with, especially if you are traveling with a friend. Otherwise, you might as well be using the toilet with your friend.

Don't sail on the Epic if you are in desperate need of R&R. Having to reserve tickets to a free show is not my idea of R&R.

Don't make plane reservations to return on your own. I heard several people saying they were going to miss flights because they couldn't get out of port as quickly as they usually do in other ports. If flying I wouldn't book anything before 3:30

Big ship, lots of people in common areas (buffets), pool decks, etc. Try the extras like the specialty dining and spa areas. Not as crowded and you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

Book your dinners prior to sailing. FYI, if you get the UBP that you do have to pay taxes when you are at port prior to sailing. Pack sun screen in carry on. Get up extremely early to get a good seat at pool. I was up at 6 am and towels were reserved on all lower seats by pool.

Be patient for the boarding process.Keep some essentials in your carry on til luggage arrives. Take advantage of spa and gym since eating and drinking are plentiful. enjoy the views from the stateroom,island, and the peace and quiet of theocean.
