Review summary

My favorite part was the entertainment, otherwise I was not impressed with this cruise. Standing in line for everything from food service, elevators, bar and grill was terrible. We stood in line for over 45 minutes (2nd in line) to get into the "Taste" restaurant - this is absolutely ridiculuous. Even when we went to Port canaveral to board the ship; the ship was late due to weather (no one can predict this) but we stood in line for 4 hours; then we were let into a holding area for another 2 to 3 hours and finally boarded the ship. When we asked if we could be supplied with bottled water (a minimum request); we were told it is not our responsibility. The food was not impressive; my husband was very sick from the Italian restaurant; as well as I was quite sick from Lasagna in the "Taste" restaurant. My balcony room was good, and very pleased with room service. This trip has left both my husband an myself not wanting to go on any other cruises. The person from your company that booked our cruise had made a terrible error in our destination as well. As well when we booked our snorkel adventure for the private island when we arrived on the ship we were told that the underwater statutes, etc were destroyed last year by a hurricane (2016) - we booked the adventure within the last two months before the cruise then I only received the cruise credit of $60 not the converted refund of $80 (which I paid Cdn). I am very disappointed in this cruise.

Good - having a balcony made the trip more enjoyable.

Instead of telling people it is only a 10 to 15 minute walk - they need to be more honest as we only had until 1:30 pm for this trip

We were miserable also. BUT do not let this cruise ship ruin your cruising. This is a mega ship and we learned the hard way. Megaships come with long lines and waiting and reservations for everything. Along with the terrible layout of the ship everything else was just a continual disappointment. Go cruise on smaller ships and you will find what you probably expected there. Doing what you want when you want without reservations and without fighting crowds. We are avid cruisers and have cruised over 25 times. We live in Florida and cruise 2 to 3 times a year when possible We actually would tell people NCL was our best cruise, now we end that conversation with 'it was also our worst.'

the food in the pun and the noodle bar was great...the Taste was...just ok,but not bad...the service in my opinion was great... there was a lot of people that purchased the drink package that were feeling no pain. the entertainment shows were great,but the organized stuff could use a lot of help... the only one thing I found that would keep me from going again were the terribly designed cabins...geesh..see though toilet and shower doors...light switches you couldn't find...electrical outlets you could hardly find....a tub that seemed like a 3 foot high side....and what the heck was the foot bath thingy in the drawer.... but I still had a great time

We were disappointed as well. Never going back. We did like the ice bar and Priscilla. O Sheehans was good. We never had to wait in lines for dinner, but rhe food was subpar. And the service awful.
